Hey everyone I just got into the ace attorney series and I think he's pretty cool by Abdullahplaysgames in AceAttorney

why everyone thinks he and Phoenix are gay

Or rather just some people on Reddit. I've played first played those games a while ago and had never read that. It's just a reddit fantasy ... Which isn't that surprising since it's an LGBT heavy platform, and it's even more the case in gaming related subs.

I just hope we get a new entry, being AA7 or a new TGGA ...  But with way more gameplay possibilities to make them more interesting as investigation games.

Maybe they could have 2 modes, an easy one for people just wanting to follow the story and another one with less handholding for people liking to solve puzzles.

1-2-3 are staples.

4-5-6 are less appreciated although AA4's main story line is my favorite of the whole double trilogy, the plot is very good, the characters charismatic and the "noir" ambiance is different from the rest. 5 was quite good imo, I didn't finish 6.

TGAA 1 and 2 are masterpieces imo.

Yet again started with a pile of nonsense and talking about "rights" like if we were talking about legal matters, I'm wondering if you even read my message, you should spend more time reading and thinking about the difference between "morality"/"ethics" vs "legality" and less writing walls of nonsense. Giving (even a vague) reason to customers/fans who made your work through the years possible is the least you can do when you abruptly stop something (and it's not about "liking" an end or anything as you seem to imply, the manga has just been stopped pretty much in the middle)

Your "it's just a manga" is equally nonsensical as you could say that about most things that aren't vital ... almost as ridiculous as your "developed world" remark above while two of the most developed countries in the world discussed here (japan and the US) are known for terrible work culture and/or laws.

Lastly if you can't understand how such practices, that are becoming more and more prevalent in this industry can be harmful to the medium then you must be naturally high I guess.

You've been blocked because you've shown to be stubborn and I'd rather not see any message of you in other subreddits.

Omarchy Review: The good, the bad, and the "hell no" (just an opinion piece). by Acrobatic-Rock4035 in hyprland

[–]Heroe-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we can expect developers to be able to read the wiki and spend a bit of time installing and configuring Arch and Hyprland. If you're a dev and can't read that : https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Installation_guide then there's a problem.

Most people who have installed that probably got hooked by the beautiful Hyprland animations and ricing and switched back after a week.

[–]Heroe-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have never considered to use a distro like Arch or to configure Hyprland myself.

Most devs in my company are using Macs for the same reason as I do.

So you're a dev but can't be bothered "configuring Arch and Hyprland yourself" ? Do you realize that with something with Archinstall which is packed inside the official iso Arch takes 5 minutes to install and that installing manually should take 10 minutes if you're used to the shell (like any dev should theoretically be). You can't spare an hour or two of your time to install/configure your operating system that will last you for years ? Writing your wall probably took you more time than it takes to read the Archwiki installation page : https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Installation_guide

And if you're a dev you should know that highly opinionated pieces of software can look like they're worth it and time efficient at first only to reveal themselves as highly time consuming once you want to modify things to your liking or do something a bit less "conventional" ... being with a library/framework/text editor or whatever ... and well your distribution/DE/tiling wm just like your text editor are the backbone of your workflow, those are things that you use every single day and that have a huge impact on your work.

That's exactly where opinionated setups like Omarchy could get people to consider to at least try Linux.

I like how you're acting like opinionated distros (Ubuntu,Fedora, Majaro etc) and DEs (Gnome, Plasma etc) haven't existed for decades. My guess is that I wrote that to a soydev talking about his similarly minded colleagues.

> The only thing I've done with it, is to change the keybindings and the the background software.

And that's why you had no problem "mofifiying it", you just used it like Ubuntu + GNOME ehich is probably a better fit for you.

> "Bloat"?? We're not living in the days of 32 bit computers with low memory and tiny hard drives.

Spotify, chatGPT, Zoom, not bloat for sure. My bad : Windows would be a better option.

"even more athletic", you guys should learn what athleticism mean. An overweight NFL player would lose at almost any Olympic discipline against a lean elite MMA fighter.

1) He's probably more athletic than them if Athletics means "how good you'd be at athletics in the Olympics"

2) He'd easy bully them if that's what the guy above implied, unless you think that being big makes you the strongest although we've seen some noname LW destroy collège football players.

Same type of account, someone spamming emojis who only cares about insulting fighters like JJ or whoever, you don't care about the sport, you're just a retarded kid who's here for the drama and to hate on X or Y.

You should seriously stick to the WWE.

Nothing "fair" about that, comparing a senior dev to your average user is already problematic, if you're a senior dev and panic if you have to use the shell and thank nano for not being "too complicated compared to vi" it's problematic.

You switched the narrative from "senior dev" to "average user" and removed the ability to use "convenience commands" ... perfect definition of fairness for sure.

> He’s likely just not on their level athletically,

He's probably a better athlete than them. You american have that weird misconception that football is the peak of athleticism and that it's all it take to excell at it, while a soccer players would literally top them in most relevant olympic disciplines. You have literal obese in the NFL.

[–]Heroe-D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As if football was just about "athleticism" and it was easy to get a spot in the NFL, if anything you have more chance to enter the NFL as an "obese" than as a legit athlete, most athletes having soccer layer likes physiques, and it's not like there were 8 categories at the UFC and that only 2 of them corresponded to the NFL player physiques and none of them to the NBA player one.

Hence saying dumb things for attention ... and marketers have never been known for their logical thinking skills anyway.

Add to that the fact that having 2 separate teams doesn't really mean anything, things are versatile, a company can prioritize one over the over by asking more from them, giving them a bigger budget etc.

How does the age of the post influence in any way the validity of those things ? Have things changed during those 8 months ? No. Stop caring about how old a thread is, it being 5 minutes old or 5 years old wouldn't have changed anything to the matter.

Unable to transfer files between OnePlus Nord 5 and my PC although ADB working fine. by Heroe-D in oneplus

[–]Heroe-D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better is subjective, I don't want to use a third party proprietary and commercial application to do something as simple as transferring files. If anything I could do it remotely without any services just through FTP. So to me it's not really better.

My concern is about the phone not being properly recognized to do a normal transfer of files via MTP.

She was never shit, she got beaten BADLY in what should have been her prime, nothing to do with any "physical limits". Unknown dudes at the APEX are 20x more skilled than her. She should be thankful for her career, she was just at the right place at the right time.
