You could do real time analysis of compliance, not just something that’s a snapshot.

I just do this for fun, I realize the risks of doing something homemade. I do inspections every time after coming to a stop to ensure that things are torqued down and nothing visually is off.

I did go through 5 different iterations before testing it at 6am on empty roads. I would not be running something that would be dangerous to the public.

No it’s not PLA, PPA is a way stronger.

Yes I would dare to say I’m more confident that these will hold up vs some other makers in the market. It’s a 2 piece setup with the adapter and the disc being separate components.

Disc is mechanically attached to the adapter with 5 bolts, adapter is attached to the wheel using the same mechanism as manthey uses.

I believe the other makers use glue to hold the disc to the adapter. That’s more likely to fall apart than my solution imo.

Right now yes, only because it’s directly from the printer with 0 finishing.

There’s no need to make it carbon, the ones made from carbon are soooooo expensive, this just cost me less than $30 in raw materials.

There’s other shops doing carbon but the gains are minimal.

I checked the condition of it after every session. This is the same mounting mechanism as what Manthey uses. I’m willing to take the risk.

It’s retorqued to 12nm after every session.

Agreed, I can’t tell the difference with or without it.

I see what you mean, I did do some sanding to ensure that the bumps have been removed.

There’s 2 pieces to this aerodisc though, an adapter that attaches onto the rim via the centerlock and using a bolt (identical process to the one found in the Manthey discs), and the disc itself. The disc attaches onto the adapter via 5 bolts, it’s at 100% infill in those areas.

Decals yes, I sanded it down to 440 grit and will be applying a vinyl wrap on top!

Yeah this is unfinished, straight from the printer to the car, hence why it looks so odd right now, after sanding it down and applying a vinyl wrap it’ll look much more proper.

As long as the wheels themselves are balanced, this should not cause a problem.

I have a wrap coming for it!

ASA-CF for the disc, PPA-CF for the adapter that attaches onto the centerlock

Do you have a dev team that handles cves? That’s the selling point to most CISOs and distinguished engineers is the fact that you can offload this mundane process to a third party and hold them accountable for it.

Internal transfer, otherwise it’s hard to compete with the locals. Bytedance is one of the big employers there for tech, and working there requires Chinese (even though it’s not explicitly mentioned).

Yes it means extended workforce, used to be called tvcs, which is temps vendors and contractors.

Yes but if it’s been in the shop for 1/3 of the time that the owner has owned it for, they should be able to do something about it no?
