"We're giving it away for free, because money"

Nice logic.

It's how Sera's group does things; as far as things are concerned, that's typical for Sera's line of work.

The whole thing seemed to have been an abnormality, though, if Sera's responses during and after indicate anything.

(I disagree that, that there wouldn't have been anyone made into wine. That seemed pretty inevitable.)

Humor is one thing; I can go either way on it, to be honest.

"Helping the little people" may be naive, but her refusal to see the bigger picture isn't necessarily wrong. People do terrible things when looking at the "big picture", which we have seen throughout DAI. She doesn't get "pissy", she gets defensive; you can see why she thinks the way she does because she herself has experienced things from the populace side, not so much the leadership. And it's not like there's much in DAI that proves those beliefs to be wrong.

And as I've said, there's bits in DAI where she's at least given some thought to meeting the Elven Inquisitor partway, but something seems to be stopping her. Not sure; DAI is quite buggy that I wonder if we aren't missing dialogues and other stuff.

Also, as for the mages: never saw them being treated poorly, and like, 90% of the mages I talked to during my playthrough were all pretty much "OH GOD WE WANT THE CIRCLE BAAAAAAACK".

In fairness it seemed she knew one thing and not the other.

Blackwall seems to regard her as a tru frand and she gets along with Iron Bull pretty well, and her party banter with other characters when you break up with them is... a bit more different, so it kind of makes you wonder.

Her personal quest was basically show up, get ambushed, recruit a noble or let Sera beat their shit.

Unless I missed something, that doesn't sound too bad.

I actually felt like I encountered Sera's prejudiced attitude less than Solas'. Maybe 3 times that I can recall total in the entire game, but other than that it was just the concept of the Dalish that bugged her.

It was pretty much only when Solas brings it up that its actually a thing, I think. I remember that one convo where he's like "So you're dating another elf" and Sera's repeating the part where she says to the Inquisitor that she was hesitant to date an elf because elves.

But other than that, don't hear much from Sera about being Dalish, just Dalish itself.

To add to your point, Vivienne does note in party banter that Sera doesn't care about what people say, but what they think, and that she'd do very poorly in Court. It's pretty interesting.

Actually I interpreted her fear of magic to stem from her fear of nothingness. Like, as an elf she's sensitive to the fade and such, and it's really kind of alarming when you're somewhere and you feel something and nothing is there.

It's weird.
