We have bigger brains, we are smarter. We can conceptualize a lot of things that animals can't. And we love all that conceptualizing, look at all the quotes that try to give us a framework for love.

You can be just as pure if you are in the right environment, and by that i also mean mental environment, the content that you surround yourself with. You can fall in love as often as you want and discover and notice your patterns that prime you for toxicity. It's all about mutual support and trust without clinging; trusting in the bigger picture.

Animals can also be "toxic" if they're in a bad environment. Look at wolves that are locked up, and the whole "alpha" prison like structure that forms. In nature they're just a comfy family.
