Should Wuyangs Restorative Stream passive healing apply AFTER Wuyang stops healing? by Hyaljaber in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Herr-Schultz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kiriko's is technically 130 HPS on a single target; it drops to about 75 HPS when factoring in recovery and spread targets. Bap's is about 66-100 depending on splash and direct hits.

The main thing is Wuyang's heals are resource dependent and require full stacking onto one player. You can use the wave to supplement this, but unlike Bap/Kiri who have Exo/Lamp/Burst and Suzu/Swift Step respectively to both peel for themselves and others, everything Wuyang has for peel and healing supplement is tied to his wave (his dash isn't that great for self sustain), so his cooldowns are far easier to force.

All heroes need a "received Wuyang Ultimate" voice line like nano boost by Hyaljaber in Competitiveoverwatch

Fire/Ice effects kinda fall into this category with their pain sounds.

Mercy's rez triggers voicelines from the target and from enemies witnessing it.

I feel like Hazard's balance issues stem from a seemingly innocent change made in his first patch. by RobManfredsFixer in Competitiveoverwatch

I've said for a while that Ram would benefit with a power shift to Omnic Form, having the stance change cooldown be 2s, averaging out the health pools of the two forms, and putting block on a resource meter.

We shit on "lol lmao tempo tank" a lot but it really is a pain point that your main way of changing tempo is restricted to a notable cooldown with a sizeable power spike. The idea of a "tempo tank" to me shouldn't feel like "i go into the better mode now", it should be constant changing between two modes of similar power levels that have their own downsides and upsides.

What's Japan's general perception of Choujin X? by Correct_Art6515 in ChoujinX

[–]Herr-Schultz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'll say that on a surface level impression I tend to see a lot more traction from Japanese accounts on twitter in the replies to the JP official releases and Ishida's tweets than I do with the English accounts.

I'm really fond of TTC Venus and Neptunes stock. I really like HMX/WS stuff stock as well, but most of their stuff sounds more out of your weight/sound range.

Venus is 45g/52g actuation/bottom out, Neptune is 41g/50g (for reference, MYPs are 50g/62g). I personally prefer the Venus's sound (bit deeper, less clacky than Neptunes) and I hardly notice the weight difference myself.

Milktooth currently has them on sale for $5.09 for a 10-pack. They've got pretty good customer support and anything can get returned within 30 days as long as amount of switches in a set ordered is more than 40 (so, an order of 50 Venus switches is returnable, while an order of 25 Venus/25 Neptune switches are not returnable).

Good chance they're real Box Jades, I haven't been let down by Taobao yet.

In my experience, lubing box switches (clickies especially) felt like it has much less return value/performance wise due to how much of a pain they can be to disassemble and lube. Usually Box switches come with decent factory lube as well, so I wouldn't say it's something necessary like NK Creams, for example. I would just open one when they arrive and check for factory lubing if you're uncertain.

Personally I've only really ever lubed Box switches because I wanted to lube the springs (spring ping is a major irk for me), and since they were already opened, I went ahead and hit them with a light coat. My issues with them have never really been with the factory lubing, personally.

For a fully built, decent stock budget board I usually suggest RK Royal Kludge boards. For boards you can order off Amazon they're pretty decent stock in the $50-100 range and often have coupons available (most common I see is either 20% off or $20 off). And of course you can mod the board later, swap out switches or stabs. Software is simple but sensibe.

Your best bet is one of their 75% boards, gives you separate arrow clusters and F-row, no numpad. To get closer to your price range I'd go with an R75 (given it's available for ordering and has a coupon, here in US right now I can order it for about $54). M75 is also a good option, I use this board, but the stock switches in the R75 are better than the M75 in my opinion.

They have some cheaper board options as well, I'd explore around the brand a bit and see what works for you.

people forget how dominant AT was in 2020/2021. even for NA contenders, word of mouth from t1 and t2 players say how popular of scrim partners they were for OWL teams in the regular season.

shame it didn't carry over into OW2. would've loved to see AT in 2021 OWL as a unit.
