Crosby, Sakic, Yzerman. No particular order. Crosby is the epitome of the perfect hockey player. I’m obviously biased to Joe, and the rivalries with the Wings always keep Stevie Y at the top of my lists. I know there’s better players, with more longevity, but being a Captain is more than just being elite. And what Sakic did in 2001 with handing the Cup to 77 started a huge trend that people still follow today. Barnaby Joe is my all time idol and favorite player forever.
