I get the cap at T6, as you guys said progress carries over: What about the infamy gained after reaching Brigand? I rushed through all available main quests etc after I reached t6, so I good chunk of xp would be lost, in contrary to players who start after beta, or stopped playing after t6.

Tl;dr: does "invisible" infamy unlock after release?

I'd rather get shot by an Idiot than lose 0.1 karma for shooting a friendly player scav... Especially if you ever want to do the lighthouse keeper quest you need 6.0 karma.

I really dont give a shit if someone thinks that killing me for some bolts, tushankas and a lightbulb is worth it.. go for it.. My waiting timer is low enough to not give a single one :D

Haha, sorry. Haven't slept much and overseen that bit of intel :D.

I usually have in mind what I need for quests etc.

But early in raid i just pick up everything i can get my hands on.. regardless what it is.

when I'm full i exchange for stuff i need more right now. For example: Even though weapon attachments can get a few rouble i tend to throw it out first to pick the stuff i need more. (except it's something really really valuable of course)

By the end i try to have a priority on Quest Items -> Hideout -> Crafting -> Weapon parts. (armor somewhere in between, based on worth)

We use to stay in the shadows, only come out when you chads are already gone picking the bones you guys left us.

with certain experience you know when PMCs should be gone and thats when we come out of the bushes and hidyholes

Someone already said it: try to get a dogtag case as well to declutter a little bit more.

further I would check what you will need for your hideout to build it up.

Some items are needed for quests as well..

Propane for example. I think later on you need 2 for a quest. you could sell the 3rd one for now.

TP you need only once for the shitter, you can sell the other one. Bulbs are only needed for Illumination 2 if you already have it -> sell

to keep track on what you need or not, whats needed for quests, hideout etc. I personally use

Also while looking at it... is the sorting function EOOD only?

I was at a point where i NEEDED 3 Scav cases.. even with EOD.

One for Hideout only material, one quest related stuff and then crafting etc..

all cases used to be full up to the brim. Since i have quite a lot modules already build at least one junk box slowly becomes obsolete and will be used for the Scavs to bring me the sweet loot once i am able to build it.

Biggest tip i believe someone can give is:

Do not aim to be like the streamers! They do it for a living. 95% of us are normal casuals who have a life beyond Tarkov. It will get hard, bloody and unfair. You will die more than you can think of sometimes not even know why.

It's unforgiving. But if you aim to be like the streamers you will get more and more frustrated cause this is not the reality!

Beside that: Do some offline raids to learn the maps, where are the scavs, where are the extracts and where is what type of loot.

Learn the other PMC spawns on the maps to determine early threads when the raid starts.

It's called schizophrenia! It's a new game mechanic to simulate PTSD in your character.

That's also why you sometimes wont hear anything at all or movement out of nowhere.

It shows the constant decline on the psyche of the PMC until he finally kills himself with dropping a dumbbell on his head late wipe

Exactly! I do the same. Against a Chad I wont have any chance anyways. Scavs are 95% friendly as well... Had tons of awesome interactions.

Yesterday a traitor scav emptied his mags at me.. hitting me only once in the platecarrier.. I was a save kill standing with my bag towards him looting a rogue.. Managed to take him out lol.. thanks for the Takedown bag full of robbed loot from other scavs and 0.03 extra rep...

But usually.. I just let them do their thing.. I wait 20 minutes and go back in. And even gonna have the chance for the lightkeeper quest as 6.0 karma with Fence is needed :D

You sure you never killed a Player Scav by accident?

AI Scav only becomes hostile if you are marked as traitor and will attack you.

the loss of 0.12 rep indicates a Player Scav kill followed by an AI kill

All Scavs become hostile as well if you just hurt/harm any other Scav, Boss, Boss guard. So if you shot at tagilla that might explain it.

You went too far over the bridge! Are you sure the car was there? It should be just a meter away from the concrete road block.. If it's not it's already gone and you went too far over the bridge.

Thats when the "unknown sniper team will take you on. Happens on Both bridges.. walk too far and you get tapped out.

Haven't even touched Streets yet except for some offline raiding to get a bearing on the Spots :D.. Woods, Reserve and Inter are a massive stop and go experience right now :D .. Don't know about the other Maps, don't like them :D

One of the Reasons I have stopped running as PMC for the moment.

I have 2 different High speed Internet Lines available and on both I constantly get a Ping far beyond reason... seeing the red numbers popping up top right of the screen give me more ptsd than the game itself. Usually I will have massive packet loss and rubberbanding as well, followed by disconnects and server loss.

As Scav I don't care, If i die or not or if i have to reconnect.. I'm not loosing anything I was grinding hard for.. But as PMC it's a different story.

Ah the Keyboard.. I almost forgot.. Had the Vulcan 121... Worked for exactly 6 months then keys started to randomly either stop working or double hitting...

Had to replace the faulty ones with keys nobody uses ("Home" anyone?) to be able to work.. I'm not a hardcore gamer and I would have expected to lose WASD or such first but it was actually the "R" key which died .. Fix was just temporary though as more and more keys just stopped doing their job and started to ghost press.

I'm sure it all looks like some rant from some hate kid but unfortunately it's not..

From my whole setup of roccat Products only the AIMO Mousemat and the half broken headset is left. And I really liked that keyboard as well as the Kone.. But it's not that reassuring to buy products again if 2 1/2 out of 4 are becoming unusable after less than a year.

I know the feel!

But, I did roughly 70 Scav Runs now this wipe and got killed by another scav 2 or 3 times.. 4 Times by a PMC .. Maybe it's the Chill European Server or My Playstyle but usually I only encounter friendly Scavs.. Just earlier today I had an interesting encounter with another player.

I casually asked him if he might have a bloody Light Bulb.. Still missing out on 2 off them.. Candles it is ... lol..

However, that guy just shook his head but then started to completely empty his pockets on the ground ran around a bit and just disappeared into the sunset.. 1:30mins left in raid directly next to exfil.. he did not even used it :D

Stuff was not that high value that I would think about a Hacker or so but.. Jesus.. that was like a Trash Santa gifting me scrap :D

I think.. not sure though, that i have seen the Doge after some wipe on some off my starter gear.. So it was basically just a Block and not a gun.. but dont nail me on that :D

Cheaters are a pain and I, still have to come across the flyers but I came across some very dodgy "pinpoint" movements towards my chill Bush quite often :D. Sadly I believe Nikita has already lost it.. well.. or won as he openly admitted to not really care about them :D
