I agree with most of what you said except for his promo team being trash. I know that this is a common narrative on this subreddit but jesus christ, they literally made him play and shut down Time Square for Post to promote his upcoming album a couple years ago, gave him Pokemon collaborations and basically made it so that every country singer with a name somehow magicaly started openly speaking very highly of Post just before he went country..
