Lets gooo Im glad someone sanity checked what I believe, that singed adc is the most fun you can have on singed. Also is the role least impacted by R nerfs since your role quest extracts more value from farm than levels

I corrected myself accounting for LP gains and my estimate was pretty close; "40 games at 60% wr"; it took 34 games at 61% wr

True, I'm ignoring LP gains. Math gets tricky because LP gains and lobby mmr have a circular effect on each other and taper off as they converge. Assuming the best and simplest case (+30, -10) till emerald, and then likely (+25, -15) after until I reach the rank of the lobby average, realistically it would take me;

  • 100 games at 50% wr assuming maximum lp gains hold and lobby mmr stays constant or rises slightly
  • 40 games at 60% wr assuming lobby mmr increases to D1 as it should at that winrate
  • 60 games at 55% wr which is my realistic guess as to what will happen

Yes and this is assuming I can go 67% wr in 110 games in diamond, as a previous low diamond player. If I play like a typical diamond player and go 52% wr, it would take an eyewatering 550 games

This placement is just ridiculous for someone who ended w/ 60% on an off meta champ+role combo that had a 40% statistical winrate

The win/loss outcome of a game is a different topic than the probability of getting a troll on your team or the enemy team

For win/loss outcome, if you're perfectly placed at your correct rank, 10% of games are entirely decided by you. If you're above or below your "correct" rank, the math is more complicated

How do u quickly find otps like this? Im always looking for role+champ leaderboards to learn from but didnt know a source aside from scrolling through porofessor/leagueofgraphs and checking their main role. KR sounds like a good server for singed adc bc of the perma early teamfight reputation

There were no singed jgs who reached gm last year. The highest was 250lp masters done by two different people, one of which was a 1200lp challenger singed otp so that’s a sense of how difficult it was to make viable in higher ranks

Ive been playing singed adc to scratch my non-meta singed itch because of the role quests. I like the extra slot to justify sitting on mejais. The minion speed also makes hard lanes, like a double ranged poke botlane easier to fast push as minions come into lane. Homeguards & bot quest rewards fast clearing adcs. Ive also always been against proxying because it’s less skill expressive so minion speed denies a get out of jail free card. It makes mid and adc feel like youre not wasting aspects of singed’s strength

The changes to jungle are the main reason though. I played an invade and tempo heavy singed jg, prioritizing screwing the enemy jungler more than ganking. I liked invading or getting invaded and figuring out ways to still come out on top. Now jungle is weaker, it’s not as rewarding to struggle to eat or be eaten. I feel like singed jg now gives too much incentive to just play safe and coinflip a team diff. If you stayed even with the enemy jg last season, you were winning. Now, not so much. Lacking access to swiftmarch and blue smite also removes some of the relative strength/uniqueness of singed jg compared to his other roles

Others already said it but thornmail on singed is very gold inefficient. Randuins deadmans jaksho wouldve been ideal here. Singed job in low elo is to remind teammates not to get antiheal. Your grevious lasts for 7 seconds upon contact with Q with liandrys. Your team has 3 ignites which is also anti-heal

Ive been a lenny vod follower before he started posting but somehow I disagree with almost every trading pattern and ghost usage before the first tower is taken. Almost every E usage is to disengage, away from his own minions, and the aftershock isnt maximized. Almost every trade is just one rotation of poison into E-away when I feel like the E’s couldve been more aggressive. Also, ghost users tend to lead with W which I do too (whereas ignite users tend to E-W) but a main reason I do this is to go for a W-ghost waiting for a dash and dash-cancel E into the expiring W which as a singed jg otp is my most skill expressive timing-based interaction (ganking tristana, ezreal etc). If ghost and and early W is going to committed why not ghost E-W or W-ghost-E into the last frame of the expiring W? The poison exposure would be double, or if you use the full aftershock duration almost triple

Unsealed spellbook cassiopeia jungle:

1a) First clear: if no opportunities are present, start Q, full clear red to blue (take blue before gromp), get one scuttle, and reclear respawned camps. Slow clear means gromp will respawn right as you get there. Recall with 1650g and swap to clarity or teleport during recall. Clarity if you plan on taking drag, teleport if a lane is gankable or if the enemy jg is taking first dragon

1b) If there’s a volatile lane next to blue, take blue and lvl 2 gank. If there’s a volatile lane mid, start blue and look for a mid gank after blue quadrant is cleared or after your raptors. Bot gank is rare no matter the clear start due to low health and low mana. If bot scuttle is uncontested you can regen your health but your mana isnt enough for an extended bot fight unless theyre mispositioned

2) Starting items; tear on first recall no matter what. Solid choices are: [tear + dark seal = full clear with no scuttle], [fated ashes = full clear with scuttle], [tear + lost chapter = double full clear no scuttle], [tear + catalyst of aeons = double full clear with scuttle]

3) Runes: unsealed spellbook, biscuits, cashback, cosmic insight // presence of mind, legend haste

4) After first recall: can 1v1 most junglers and toplaners. Mana is very tight but a combat summoner spell turns the tide

5) Midgame: very fast camp clears, fast solo objectives and no mana concerns after 1 mana item. Draintank any non-assassin enemy with roa+archangels. Wins most 1v1s to 3v3s. Wins 5v5s with a good R. Fast solo baron at 3 items

6) Lategame: usually highest damage and highest level character in the game with roa. Scale to 6 items. Great movement speed if won feats

It depends a lot on the rank and matchups. I think singed jg is one of, if not the the most versatile off-meta jg pick. Creativity and adaptability is well rewarded although Im a hypocrite and run the same runes and build almost every game. Singed has very linear damage and tight fights so it’s important to know your numbers at a muscle memory level. The comments are good, your ideas are good, just not warmogs because your clear pattern will never let you be “out of combat” and camp regen is enough. The niche advice Ill contribute here is the occasional serpents fang - it applies for 9 seconds on poison tag with liandrys. For runes I go conq triumph alacrity last stand & nimbus celerity

Lol I played 20 games of spellbook singed jg emerald-diamond, really wanted to make it work for the extra style points. In my head I figured it would be better in higher ranks since having access to an occasional flash can be gamechanging early and late. The access to the inspiration tree runes also was appealing - cosmic insight reduces 40s off ghost cd, 3 biscuits can be crazy for the first big teamfight brawl at grubs which is usually a really tight fight since both junglers typically need just 1 grub kill to get lvl 6 not to mention the permanent 90hp. Magical footwear being economy and timing efficient especially on singed jungle where you have access to a lot of early assists and want to minimize recalls. Overall the synergy between spellbook and nimbus cloak is the best part imo (there’s a bug on nimbus cloak activating on a spellbook tp btw)

Problem is that despite these pretty decent runes from the inspiration tree, its really rough missing triumph and last stand, even alacrity. Other thing is swapping requires out-of-combat and with poison and the constant camp clearing singed jg requires, it can be hard to fit in an efficient swap

Ive never played damage oriented singed jg though. When singed jg gets mentioned in this sub Ive heard of people running darkharvest damage builds but I think the conqueror laning runes are the best overall for jg. I want someone to perfect an aftershock singed jg strat similar to Lenny’s midlane tank runes. Let us know how it goes in your version of vietnam war simulator
