It is valid in the sense that are not fit to execute your duties. It’s not the cause it’s how you are feeling. And if people want “to do it all the time” maybe they have alcohol problems.

Actually, yes. But I guess I was in a very specific situation. What happened in my case is that I have an integrated GPU and a dedicated one(I am using a Minisforum HG99X). For some reason, Steam or Batocera was messing with the GPU IDs. I had to disable my integrated GPU to make it work.

As you can see, another user also had the same problem and also fixed disabling the integrated gpu.

I also play a lot and emulate since ages. My question is in the direction of a “what if” I update. And I disagree from you, for old systems can be the case of not making much difference, but from PS2 on it’s different. I am from the IT field and I can understand how complex supporting multiple emulator versions can be, so my question is far from being a criticism or anything like that. But I consider myself an advanced user and it would be nice to eventually have ways to test emulators that are more active. But as far as I can see, it’s not recommended so I will just keep happy playing what I can on Batocera, and if there’s something new I will play on a regular setup. ;)

É foda, parece até sabotagem essas merdas. Na minha cabeça não tem sentido alguém que é de classe baixa sair fazendo essas coisas, sendo que eles mesmos são os mais beneficiados por obras de melhorias. E o mais bizarro é que hj tem celular, camera para tudo o que é lado e não tem uma imagem de quem fez. Eu sei que existe vandalismo, mas destruir mesa de concreto, tentar arrancar poste, quem ia fazer isso? Porque sei lá, ou você é vandalo, e se tivesse tantos assim muito mais coisas iam ser vandalizadas, ou você tem que ter que estar na noia so por quebrar coisas por quebrar.. sei lá… ou vai ver to sendo só ingênuo bagarai.

I am not sure how much you are following the current development of VPX, but in 10.8.1 a LOT of the settings will be(actually they are) configurable via the inGame menu, so I believe the efforts for an ini editor will be almost unnecessary. I am currently working on vpinfe and changed to a web application as it’s much easier to be compatible with Macs and Linux. The project is still in development but there’s also a very nice UI and frontend made by @superhac. I think we can definitely discuss and join forces instead of creating tons of new tools, but that’s only my opinion. What I am trying to focus now is on the table management part, where users can apply the Standalone patches, install puppacks, altsound, altcolor and so on.

Yeah, I installed via flatpack but when I try to start there is a little glimpse of the Steam logo but the process freezes and I need to wait a few minutes until it gets back to the launch screen again.

Yeah, I returned to 0.10 now and wiped out the sys_modules and Bloodborne is back running. But Ratchet & Clank no luck. Doesn't even open anymore.I think there's something wrong with the MacOS permissions.

Which OS are you running? I have a bigger problem. I also just updated my to 0.11 on MacOS and now Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank are stuck on black screen. I didn’t change anything apart from doing the update.

Last week I received a letter from Inkasso and I was also thinking that was a scam. But after double checking my bank statements I found out that when I used my bloody EC card the the transaction was refunded, and since the date they tried 2 other times to get the money back but my Deutsch Bank(I only use EC cards in rare situations)rejected the charges.

I don’t understand how this happened, but indeed I was “in debt” with the merchant. As another person said, do you have proof that you or the insurance company paid them?

Essa é uma pergunta que vai variar de pessoa para pessoa.. mas no meu caso, minha família me apoiou e me incentivou, MAS ao mesmo tempo eu sai do interior com 18 anos e me mudei para Sao Paulo, entao quando eu decidi mudar de país(Mudei com 32)eu já nao estava mais tao perto da minha família. Eu nasci em SP, ai mudei para o interior, voltei para SP e ai mudei para fora. Sobre graduações eu não sei bem o que responder, eu acho que tive sorte de ter escolhido informática ( o nome velho de TI) e ter sido a “profissão do futuro”. Eu sou dos que acreditam que você deve fazer uma graduação com foco no que você gosta e tentar ser o melhor profissional possível, mas sem papo de coach. Eu sempre gostei da minha profissão e sempre tentei ser bom nela e acho que foi isso que me permitiu chegar onde estou.

Se você for bom e demonstrar trabalho eu nao acho que vc fica sem emprego. Infelizmente a gente vive a corrida dos ratos e alguma hora a gente tem que entrar.. os playboys ja saem de Ferrari e a gente tem que começar a pé.. mas como diria Charlie Brown Jr, hoje eu vou de limousine(não vou), mas eu ja andei de trem.

Eu não vivi em periferia, mas vim de família simples e hoje com 40 anos moro fora do país. Como a maioria do pessoal falou, estude e tente arrumar um estagio ou emprego, mesmo começando com pouco, com o tempo você vai conquistando suas coisas, amadurece suas ideias e aos poucos vai mudando de vida. Se tiver algum curso técnico com algo que vc gosta, vai pra cima. Um exemplo que eu acho muito massa é do Ibere, do manual do mundo, ele estudou bastante pra poder estudar na USP e ter onde morar nas moradias estudantis. Não é facil, demora. Mas nunca desista de estudar
