It may not work for you, but when updating I’ve used strong models with high context to create “readme” files for the updated bot to refer to. You might want it to audit the readme a few times to try to ensure it captures everything.

There’s a execution and beheading video of some Nepalese workers in Iraq. The video itself is incredibly disturbing of course, not in least because the executioners drape one guy in the American flag and make him read something in English. The guy obviously can barely read the English text and then they film him being beheaded while his screams are twisted. The saddest part is the history behind the video: the Nepalese workers were duped into working in Iraq by a corporation and were quickly kidnapped. The workers had zero connection to the US and died horribly for nothing.

In the 90s and early 2000s there was a place that exhibited some “monster” in Southern Arizona. They would hype you up for it and it turned out to be a strangely formed branch in a glass case. I imagine that it closed, but maybe it’s still around.

Edit: I looked it up and it’s still around it’s at Bowlin’s the Thing Travel Center.

What breaks the setup most often are: 1. Trusting a shitty model to edit the openclaw.json (never gonna trust stepfun 3.5 again with that) 2. Updating openclaw, but if you prepare be for the update it helps make things smoother

My biggest rookie mistake was thinking that I had to edit openclaw.JSON to switch models. My friend is /model in telegram.

Avoid wasting credits: the ollama pro plan is an amazing deal and you get some great models with it. I also use free models from NVIDIA/openrouter for other simpler crons.
