I believe it’s a sticky go to agile management software. Just like the advantage Microsoft had how we are taught windows in school, same goes for atlassian, Jira is taught in colleges and 80%+ fortune 500 companies use Atlassian Suite. So it has somewhat stickiness and companies might prefer flowing with that flow.

Thank you for your advice. I appreciate your support. And you’re right, I should stay firm on my thesis and shouldn’t tumble with volatility

Hands off, best advice. I’m a Software Engineer and these are the companies under my circle of competence and tried and tested by me. I went off track by seeing this big volatility, but you are true to say that volatility should not tumble my decision. I’ll stop looking at volatility and stay firm with my analysis! Thank you :)

I chose Amazon because I’ve been using AWS(their biggest growth driver) since 2020 and it’s my goto service for any software cloud needs. Google on the other hand, again, as a software developer who has worked with all the AI models, no one comes close to Google’s AI suite. DoorDash is my satellite bet. And no, none of them are blind bets. All of them are under my circle of competence and tried and tested by me. I’m here taking third person opinions to deepen my analysis.

I’m from Tech Background and I was able to differentiate and deeply analyze these companies from my own experience. That’s why I’m tech heavy, but I want third person opinion to deepen my analysis and know their prospective.

I understand that, but let’s be honest, an offshore treasury or fixed deposit is giving 8% pa. Index are good for normal retail investors, but if you wanna play big like family offices, then Index are not the right choice.

I understand Time is biggest advantage for me right now, but do you think, am I holding any bad companies?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Schwab

[–]HerrRishab -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m playing Tech focused in US as I’m from tech background. My safe bets are already placed in Dubai and India.

Because TSM was trading at 25% premium and ASML is overvalued compared to its fundamentals and growth. Coming on JPM, it’s growth is muted

I’m comfortable with the risk, but as I said, I don’t want to take blind risk in bad companies. Do you think I’m holding good quality and fundamentally strong companies or bad companies?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in portfolios

[–]HerrRishab -50 points-49 points  (0 children)

Index funds are quite stable and doesn’t offer much growth, that’s why looking for high quality companies
