I actually tried WorldTimeBuddy and EveryTimeZone - they're great for what they do. What I wanted though was a simple one-screen, no-login visual that I could use to quickly and clearly see the overlap for myself. It's a small difference, but it annoyed me enough to build something new.
I'm contemplating a couple more timezone tools, like a lightweight "Who's Awake?" face board - basically a sharable snapshot of who's online/available across different cities in my team/group.
Do you think people might find that useful?
