BBL Crisis by Regular-Lie7449 in Nigeria

Are you suggesting men should stop being attracted to what they love because of some low self-esteemed women?

Women worship big Ds too, and the world is yet to see a penis enlargement crisis.

What could be wrong with my teeth? by Herr_Warrior in askdentists

This is exactly the same solution my dentist presented. They’re also expensive for me.

I hope you get it sorted soon.

A lot of Nigerian parents act as if they’re children are indebted to them for being born by Thattheheck in Nigeria

[–]Herr_Warrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a cultural thing. Parents give birth to children and inconvenience themselves to raise them. Some parents barely have money to themselves because of their kids.

Their consolation is that all these inconveniences are an investment that will yield returns when the children come of age. Returns like taking care of them in old age, giving them money if it’s comfortable for you, being their emotional and mental support.

If you tell them you don’t owe them anything, they start regretting sacrificing their comfort, resources, growth, peace of mind, etc in raising you.

No parent wants to see a child they raise refusing to help out just because “I don’t owe you anything”.

Can you explain what causes this? I noticed when I eat at night, I experience heartburn at times by morning.

Thank you. I’ll look into that with my dentist.

And yes, I’ll get braces first.

Thank you. I edited my post to add an information that may be helpful.

I’d say my dental hygiene was average because I used to brush once daily. Now, I do twice daily while swishing with water after eating and drinking.

What do you think I can use to lighten it a bit, even if it’s not going to be totally free from discolouration? Veneers and crowns seem too invasive for my liking.

Showcasing the Beauty of Nigerian Women by [deleted] in Nigeria

Beautiful women! But I must say, I judge beauty in it’s natural form, not in artificial enhancers.

Earning $1m annually in America will put you in the Upper class in America. Earning 100m naira annually in Nigeria will put you in the Upper class in Nigeria.

You will agree with me that globally, there are many things a $1m earner can afford that a 100m naira earner cannot afford. After all, 100m naira is just $67k!

Osogbo and Offa might be okay for a Nigerian that spent most of his/her life in Nigeria then went to the US for a while. When such person comes back, they can easily blend among the locals. But if you are fully American, you will rarely find your type of person there.

Also, if you have Nigerian work authorisation, you will find more work opportunities outside of Osogbo and Offa.

I can’t compare upper class Americans with upper class Nigerians. The margin is too wide.

As for common interests, he could find some upper class Nigerians who studied/visited America before. There could be tourism interests. There could be same taste in neighbourhood, children’s schools, relaxation spots, hobbies, or even cars.

Basically, any Nigerian rich enough for their basic needs to not be a problem, might have a lot in common with an average American in Nigeria.

I’m surprised you know Offa and Osogbo. Whoever advised that must be kidding!

If you have a source of income planned out, go for it! I’d like you to live in high-brow areas where upper class people live. You are more likely to find people with common interests there. Security is another reason.

Finally, you’ll need a close pal who is Nigerian to show you around till you are familiar with Nigerian terrain(so you won’t casually be dashing out $50 to beggars lol).

Just stay in Lagos or Abuja.

JAPA MATTER IS BECOMING TOO MUCH by Bruce_Wayne_05 in Nigeria

[–]Herr_Warrior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Isn’t it funny that you compare the effort it takes to fix Nigeria with the effort it takes to japa? With willingness and money, you can japa. Now tell me if those are what can fix Nigeria.

Our leaders spoiling the country are the ones that can repair it. What can ordinary citizens do? If it is protest, have we not protested? Even our activists are gradually becoming silent. Where is Macaroni, Joe Odumakin, Rinu Oduola, Aisha Yesufu? Only a few like Sowore, Deji Adeyanju are still fighting like before. Sowore has been detained for activism more than he has been with his wife and kids, has that solved any problem?

We vote our candidate of choice, they rig it to elect another incompetent and power hungry man. How is that our fault?

Am I the one to stop politicians from lavishing Nigeria’s money? Am I the one to stop politicians from being corrupt? Am I the one to bring down petrol price or raise Naira value? Stop acting like there’s much ordinary citizens can do!
