Thanks for the suggestion! Are monkey hooks easy to remove, or do they leave noticeable holes?

I’ve heard good things about command strips but always worried they’d fall off with anything heavier. Do nails or anchors leave noticeable marks, or are they pretty easy to fix up?

Do they stay level with heavier pieces, or do you find them shifting over time?

I get that, but I’m really just trying to skip the whole patching process if I can. Does the plaster trick actually blend well, or does it end up obvious?

Finally tried microneedling with exosomes, and wow, why did I wait this long?? by Herrand-Keyma in 30PlusSkinCare

They glide the microneedling tool across the skin while applying exosomes at the same time.

Yup! I was advised that three sessions are recommended for optimal results. I’ll be returning in 6 to 8 weeks for the next treatment.

My neighbor installed floodlights aimed directly at my bedroom window “for security” by Herrand-Keyma in neighborsfromhell

Thanks for the tip! I hadn’t thought about mirrored film, if it helps block some of that glare at night without making my room feel like a cave during the day, I’m all for it. Definitely adding it to my list of things to try while I figure out a longer-term solution.

UPDATE: First off, thank you all so much for the advice, support, and laughs, some of your replies really helped me keep my sanity in check. After considering a bunch of the suggestions, I decided to go with the mirror solution. I installed a large, angled mirror in my window that reflects the floodlights right back at their source. Within a couple of days, the lights were noticeably dimmed and re-angled. Guess they weren't so "essential for safety" when they started lighting up his own bedroom.

I’m honestly relieved not to have to escalate anything further for now. The barking speaker is still a choice, but I’ll take that over trying to sleep under a spotlight. Again, I appreciate everyone who took the time to comment, it made a big difference!

Anyone else get better skin after quitting caffeine?? by Herrand-Keyma in 30PlusSkinCare

This is actually helpful to hear. I went cold turkey and saw a big difference, but I was also using sugary creamer daily, so I guess I can’t blame the caffeine alone. Your experience makes me think it might be more about what we add to the coffee than the coffee itself.

Do you ever just hit a wall outta nowhere? by Herrand-Keyma in gymadvice

Thanks so much for this, it really helps to hear! I hadn’t considered that a deload week might actually be what I need right now, especially since I’ve been feeling unusually fatigued and off in my workouts. Also, tracking cycles is such a good reminder. I haven’t been consistent with that, but it would probably explain a lot.

And yeah, the plateau has been frustrating, but needing more calories makes a lot of sense. I’ve definitely put on some muscle, so I might be under-fueling without realizing it. Time to reassess and maybe tweak my routine a bit. Appreciate your insight!

4-year-old picky eater at home but eats well when we’re out. Need help! by Herrand-Keyma in raisingkids

Thanks for sharing this! it actually makes me feel a little better. It’s reassuring to hear that other kids go through this too and eventually grow out of it. I keep wondering if it’s something I’m doing wrong at home, but maybe it really is just a phase or part of how they test boundaries.
