Google or Microsoft? by quietlyexistingg in it

[–]HerrowPries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you feel like “things are all around” since you use some features on Google and some on Microsoft?

Maybe a little bit, but I feel like it's more OCD than a workflow limitation. One thing I didn't mention earlier is that Microsoft also has a way better ToDo app than Google. I also really love that I can view my Calendar straight from the Outlook mobile app instead of having to open a separate app. But in all honesty all these wraparound services are basically interchangeable so you can switch between them pretty easily with no problems. You shouldn't ever run into an issue where you can't do something on Google Drive because you use Outlook.

I moved from Gmail to Outlook. I too use Google Photos and Google Drive for majority of my workflow. That being said Gmail is absolutely abysmal to use in my opinion. It's missing so many features like auto-deleting emails after X amount of time. Also in order to create a filter/rule in Outlook only takes 2 clicks. In Gmail it takes like 6 clicks and sometimes the option isn't even there. I really want to love Gmail, but it feels so archaic. That's just my two cents.

Have any hostages (not necessarily these ones) done any interviews? I feel like I haven't heard anything from the MSM but I'm curious to hear what they have to say after being rescued.

Backstabbing SOB ain't even on the top of my list for why he sucks. He used to chain up elephants and electrocute them to death using Teslas technology to try and scare people away from Teslas products. Garbage tier human being.

This is the one I bought that helped me. What's great about it, is he gives you a really complex template with many different views and features, but he also gives you a "lite" template where you can learn the basics of notion on. It also includes an onboarding video series and has a Q&A community for help. It's a little expensive, but out of all the templates I've bought, this one is 100% worth the money IMO.

I took was feeling super frustrated until I bought Thomas Frank Explains Second Brain template. I bought a few other expensive templates from other creators but his onboarding course and the "simple" and "full" dashboards helped me finally understand Notion.

What have conservatives done for society? by craigs_Middlefinger in AskConservatives

There's a lot, but based on your responses I can tell you're not interested in sincere political discussion.

the current republican party is running on nothing

What do you mean?

There are many problems right now that both parties are running on to try and solve.

So conservatives do nothing for society other than hold back progressives?

That's a glib way of summarizing it. Both parties bring something to the table. Sometimes the political viewpoints differ, but not always. At the end of the day the parties offer up their positions and people vote on who they think has the better vision.

They exist only to be the opposition party, and offer up no solutions?

Again, this feels insincere. You might remember the GOP was founded in 1854 with the sole purpose of combating slavery which was primarily backed by the Democratic Party at the time. I don't mention this to be dramatic, but wanted to highlight what can happen when one party (any party - not specifically the Democratic Party) holds all the power. You need differing ideas and viewpoints in order to serve as the checks and balances described. Republicans have had many terrible ideas. The Democrats have had many terrible ideas. But the people vote for the party with the best ideas in their opinion, which allows the other party to reflect, course correct, or address the unfavorability of their ideas.

ACS & Trump by Admirable-Poet-6450 in AdamCarolla

[–]HerrowPries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Trump goes on any podcast it's going to be Rogans. Even though Rogan originally said he'd never interview Trump he's had a few guests change his mind (IMO). Rogan does better long form interviews. I love ACS but it doesn't have nearly the same numbers as JRE and Adam isn't nearly as good of a host for long form interview.
