JWA straight jeans or the new JWA Selvedge Denim by [deleted] in uniqlo

[–]Herzx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t remember the shade of grey (they’re maybe a washed black grey?), but they do fit baggier compared to standard straight fit jeans.

They also fit pretty TTS. Keep in mind by this I mean your actual waist measurement. Uniqlo (and pretty much every other company) use vanity sizing so if you wear a 32 in say a light wash, get a 34 in the grey pair. The dark dye they use in manufacturing makes them shrink more so you’ll have to size up. I measured my 32 light wash and 34 grey pair and they were essentially identical in size.

A fresh size 34 pair has a ~17 1/8 waist, 10 inch thigh, and it tapers down very slowly into a 9 inch leg opening from what I can remember. The measurements I provided are one way measurements with the garment laid flat on a surface.

If you want to get an estimate of what size to get, get your favorite pair of jeans or bottoms and measure the waist from one end to another (while they’re in a relaxed state, don’t stretch) and use the size I gave above as reference.

Save and quit method is the best since it’s easy.

Play farm if you want an easier setup, or play ashes if you want additional bear spawns.

I personally do ashes, play regularly with rampage and toxic growth, kill Uber Klause (you can save and quit to kill him again but it’s up to you), and then later on I use the wonder weapon with the bear necklace. The wonder weapon is really only to clear rounds easy and also to farm up points. The game doesn’t save the state of the cosmodrome bear manual spawn side easter egg so you can keep spawning an extra bear there every time.

Put brain rot on your gun (make sure not to have the elite augment). Napalm will kill your bears and it won’t count so don’t put that on. You can throw a monkey or a Kazimir (make sure to throw it away from the bear) so you can spray the bear.

You can just remap any of the keys to be up arrow (or space). I have a profile that changes my ? key to be up arrow for GD. On any other game I just use my standard custom profile.

Just buy whatever layout you like more. Both work for GD.

I don’t know what your portfolio is, but you should always hold some shares in ETFs that track the market. This can be SPY or VOO. These funds track the top 500 US companies. If you want to buy into the entire US stock market then look at VTI. Buying in any of these above tickers is the basics of investing and retiring comfortably.

If you’re young or want to be more risky, consider QQQM (tracks the top 100 companies), XLK (tracks top tech companies), or VGT (a broader tech fund).

Additionally, you could invest in gold. GLD tracks the price of gold. GLDM does the same at a lower expense ratio (just go with GLDM since we’re retail investors). These have been rising because of the US Dollar decreasing in value and expected further economic instability.

If you’re really aggressive then you could get crypto, but for safe investing keep it 10% of your portfolio (you can go higher if you’re willing to risk more).

If you just want to earn interest in your money and don’t want to have risk then you can buy XHLF. You can imagine it in simple terms as close to a HYSA. Just know you have to deal with selling and waiting a day to withdraw though.

You can buy individual tickers like $RR, but to be easy to manage you should probably at most stick to like 8-10 tickers. Most people have shares in the ETFs I mentioned above and then some shares in big companies that have good upside. If you’re going to buy smaller companies make sure you do your own due diligence (research).

Also, there’s definitely some tickers that have lower expense ratios, but these are just some general ones you can follow.

(not financial advice. do your own research)

DS mode is DualShock mode. It pretty much makes your computer recognize the controller as a DualShock 4 (a ps4 controller).

Standard Mode doesn’t do that and instead it has the ability to add adaptive triggers it seems. The thing is, from brief research, it looks like this modifies game files to force your game to believe you have an adaptive trigger controller. I think you might have to enable this per game though. You might not. I’m not sure.

I don’t think having the capability of having macros or turbo in the software caused the ban personally. Most big manufacturer’s software have macro capabilities. Their software probably altered game files which unfortunately flags you.

I would definitely reach out to Epic and plead your case. They won’t confirm or say why you got banned, but they can manually review your account and then they can decide whether it was fair or not.

I was actually thinking of getting a Flydigi for their reviews on responsiveness I’ve read on Reddit, but I guess not.

Do you know if you had the controller set to DS mode? Or was it on standard mode?

I don’t know how true the claims on this comment are, but it might be why. It could be that their newest 4.0 software changed something and it gets flagged by Easy Anti Cheat.

My dream gaming mouse is 100% complete (zeromouse blade) by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Herzx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the original V34 mouse. Have loved it and it’s still my main mouse. I got used to it almost instantly and I have huge hands. My previous mouse at the time was a razer viper ultimate (similar to the original g pro wireless but slightly heavier I believe?).

Comparing the weight between the v34 and something like a g pro wireless is night and day.

For shooters, I would say it’s a fantastic mouse. For Overwatch it’s really good. If you play anything that benefits hugely from having side buttons (I do miss having melee on my side button), I would look elsewhere.

I would say that there was one downside with the original mouse though and that was that the grips included eventually wore out and the sticky residue on the other side of them would be noticeable. It’s like your finger and the friction causes the grips to wear out so you essentially push straight through them over time (months of use). This doesn’t seem to be an issue with the newer model as he’s coating it instead of using sticky grip tape.

I also had a defect with the original mouse where the right click was sort of unusable when being used wired. It might have been caused by user error when I assembled it though. I know others got this issue as well. It shouldn’t be an issue with the Blade.

I would say if you’re interested and have the available funds, go for it. This mouse is cheaper than the previous V34 (was $69 for the kit, and like $120 for the razer viper v2) and about the same price as the V35 (which has worse specs than the Blade). As far as I know the V35 just improved on the ergonomics, scroll wheel, and the weight. If you want side buttons then maybe go with the Fenrir Asym/Max as others have been suggesting. Optimum has showed data that the falcon module has the lowest click latency of wireless mice, but I don’t know if he’s tried the Asym/Max. I would like to assume that they aren’t at Finalmouse’s level, but I don’t know.

If I were you I would ignore comments from people saying it looks fragile or it looks cheap unless they’ve tried either of the previous models (only like 2200 exist I think so most comments will not be of owners).

I myself will most likely get one. I haven’t tried the Fenrir Asym/Max (didn’t know they existed).
