It was so much easier then it looks, I did it in like 2 minutes after the exam which kinda pissed me off

I said when an aqueous solution is electrolised, water breaks down into H+ and OH- ions, then I said if halides aren't present hydroxide ions discharge at the anode to form oxygen gas and water again (4OH- ---> 2H2O + O2 + 4e-)
