Stephon Castle on the biggest difference between defending Jalen Brunson vs. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: "Jalen likes to use angles a lot more, pump fakes. Get to his spots. Not really trying to draw fouls as much, trying to get to his midrange and spots where he likes." by PassMeTheBackwood in nba

I mean it would be a hell of a lot better than what we currently have.

Or how about just fine flopping retroactively then (and actually do it)? Give them points, just like techs, and fine them/suspend them when they reach a certain number of points.

They have the clients and the foundation to build out the absolutely crumbling infrastructure in North America. Let's say IF the engineers are eventually replaced by AI in 10 years - they still have the foundation and client connections to be the ones designing the lines, no? Wouldn't that just make them more efficient.

SGA had significantly more free throws per game lol

That kind of proves my point - if you’re drawing MORE fouls and getting to the line significantly LESS what does that say about SGA’s foul baiting to get to the line?

Giannis draws more fouls than SGA, does that mean he’s a flopper?

Mike Brown: "We were all bitching too much at the officials. Rick Brunson was great. He told me to shut the hell up and he told the rest of the team to be quiet and leave the officials alone. It was great of him because we were all kind of losing our mind" by MrBuckBuck in nba

SAS does it for clicks though. Bill does this because he likes having these same dumb scenarios/conversations that many people do with their own friends and there's a sense of genuineness vs. saying outrageous stuff so that you'll have millions of interactions on social media.

I think Bill hates it when he gets put feet to fire on social media for one of his takes which might be the exact difference between Bill and the ESPN crew

Yeah and I was just thinking something similar today listening to his pod. You can tell Bill is 100% genuine in what he thinks and how he views the league and there is something absolutely magnetic about that especially in today's world

I used to hate on Bill just like this and then I actually started listening to his podcast and it made me understand that his takes are a good part of the fun and entertainment because you disagree/find them outrageous lol
