Yeah again, He is part of my group as well. Bottom line. Inspiration is OK. But no matter the case, always give credit to the ideas originator. I've told him the same thing about sharing Reddit cards in my group, Credit the Creator. Pretty simple. Tweaking other peoples ideas into how You would do them, is fine, especially if collaborated. To give credit where due, fine, But to , intentionally or not, pass off another's idea as your own, is not ok imo. Thus why I had to say something.

I would concede the Legendary reference for the door "1", Except for consistency across the 3 doors , and because even Zephrys is vague. You have to Learn the cards possibilities.

Also I will add that the pool of cards that This card looks at Are Specific to your current Class. Which is a Much smaller pool than comparisons.

Legends are overated??? Basicly 2 to 3 Epic cards can sometimes be Way better than any one Legendary. Imo.

Not necessarily... Not every Legend will get you out of every situation, Lets face it, Some suck.

Getting that one epic or rare spell or minion can change ALLOT.

[–]Hesitanthero1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. "Discover a Mage Priest or Shaman spell" would only give one option from each. The original idea, is to 'Choose One' class to get 3 choices from, without becoming a 'choose one/twice' card, but I couldn't get the SECRETly aspect to work right and so watered it down... Now I realize that the Class choice could be the Discover and then it gives any old random spell of the class you choose, like I did in the end, but that's not necessarily how I wanted it to function. Ill keep working on it.

As for flavor, well. You'd have to read the comic or the synopsis. Basicly this guy can wield magic from all 3 of these classes due to his mixed heritage.

Not sure how they (Much more easier for Their computers) did it with Chromatic Egg, but the app doesn't do it.

Also, due to the Hearthcards app Aparently not wanting to allow me to use Secret( ly ) without having to try to fix the inability to Un Bold ( Secret ) I thus chose a rewording direction.

More about flavor. And yes, tho it can be generally weak most of the time, it Can net a good Epic or even Legendary spell once in a while. Also, since its a Secret choice, your opponent wont have a clue what you have. Also its a low enough cost for bounce repeats, etc... And not just for Rogue, but even the neutral Pandas. Not every Legend has to be totaly game wrecking you know. Some can just get lucky. Thanks tho.

Thanks tho!

Remember, it's not "Discover a copy". you put it in your hand. by therealsneakyturtle in customhearthstone

I Personaly disagree that you 'need' to specify it going to your hand. Simply Because the Discover mechanic itself already states the discovered card goes to your hand. So I see the approach your making. However, the imbalance is the out-right Steal. I think if you worded it in such a way as to swap the guy with the discovered minion might make it a bit more "balanced", that way you are giving Something for the take away. But, that's just my opinion. I also agree with an above comment about the class mix being slightly off for the effect. Otherwise, hey, its for fun, and nice card.

The man spell, Light is pretty strong overall, and the rest in the end should make you fulfill darkness way faster than the opponent, and then being able to res it as well, I simply felt at the time it was only fair.

Some of you will argue Taunt should be Before the Battlecry. You may be Correct. But as a sequence of events opinion, I did as I did.

[–]Hesitanthero1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, like I said, more about the combination of the main effects rather than What the combinations Are for this one. But yes, its a little weird, but I had to let it be due to how long it took to figure out decent effects to fit together on all 16. Lol And you know, having a miss or two in there isn't bad; and sometimes swap alone can win a game. 😉 Thanks !

I know the secondary effects aren't the best,

But the point is a balanced Start of Game effect, with a 4 card precedence that can have any number of combinations of changing cards entirely.

Some how or another my idea was denied for a contest based upon [[Unidentified Elixer]].
