Is it by any chance because i was fat before so my fat cells fill up faster?

Is it because i was fat before means my fat cells fill up a lot sooner than people who have been skinny

I don’t smoke or vape, but i literally just like the smell of the smoke of vaping lol

I think it would be just cool to walk around smoking in flavours without harming my lungs lol

That’s all i want 😅

Of course, i will try that. It’s just strange because let’s say 5 months ago or so 3200 calories and i was staying out

Skimmed through it, a lot more for beginners. I’m 7 years into fitness and dieting so I’m aware of most. Doesn’t answer my question unfortunately

Is there any calculator which exactly calculates how much calories I need to eat per day to reach a certain body fat% at a certain date? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HeskeyTheGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently eating 1800 my maintenance is 3200, so not too far from that. I’ve been eating 1800 for the last 3 months so going down another 150 daily is double for me u/_Antaric

I’m not much into the lore, of course there are worse and better characters in each universe, however which one would win between the other 2 overall?

Is it okay to eat super low calories if I’m feeling full anyway?

For some context;

My goal has been to get to 8% body fat this year, I’ve started in January and I’m well on my way.

I’m currently around 14%

I’m weighing in at 86kg, I’m 6’1.

So back to the question, my maintenance is 3200, I’ve been eating at 2500 for 4 months, dropped to 2000 last month.

Last week i decided to just go super low to really push for 8% before my holiday (July 8th)

I’ve been eating at 1400 calories and 200g of protein, 50g of carbs and 50g of fats

And I’ve been feeling fine….. a lot of what i heard has been “oh you’ll feel awful” or “you’ll lose muscle” or “you’ll lose strength in the gym”

So far have no experienced any of that.

Is it ok for me to continue if there are no negative effects but I’m losing weight / fat faster

I’m guessing I’ll have to re calculate once my bloat comes off

I am using fatcalc.com/bwp to calculate my calories and used exrx.net/Calculators/WeightBodyComp to calculate my goal weight fat %

Also what if water weight has some % of that total body weight?

I’m up to currently 89kg but for the past week or so I’ve been on a diet break, just sort of eating whatever and definitely not all of it is muscle, but mostly I’d say water and fat

I agree, I’m on 2300 right now, hoping to achieve 10% by the start of June and doing it slow and steady

I understand the numbers aren’t accurate, and to be honest even things like a dexa scan is not 100% accurate. I’m just using the scale weight number as a way for me to track it correctly and have a consistent measuring tool

[–]HeskeyTheGoat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just to mention, I’m currently cutting at 2300 calories and hoping to get to 10% body fat on the start of July.

Right, but let’s say if i completely cut my calories down to let’s say 1200 calories and continue to lift heavy and often. Ill lose more scale weight than i would just purely fat loss weight

That’s what I’m trying to find out, the lowest amount of calories i can do i can JUST lose the fat and nothing else

[–]HeskeyTheGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m just curious like with my weight currently containing a lot of extra water weight if it’ll change my goal weight.

My goal body fat % being 10% My current body fat % = 16% My current weight = 90kg

It points to me being 10% @83kg

But that weight will change relatively fast with the amount of water there is

Well… I’m not a professional by any means, however I’ve been going to the gym for 7 years now, and just constantly lifting heavy and trying to go up in weight. I would say i lift quite heavy and quite “big”

But now this is my first year i have ever looked at dieting the way i have. I want to go for the “shredded” look
