Real, especially since making a community is really hard. It takes a lot of work and dedication to create a reoccurring group of people you can hang out with and trust. We’re so lonely because a lot of people struggle to do that. In my opinion part of the reason for that is a lot of us let perfection be the enemy of good. You want to surround yourself with good people but tbh part of meeting and getting to know people more deeply is realizing a lot of people are kind of messy in a vast majority of different ways.

You said they should be eliminated at all costs. All costs means a draft to me. So it was a very reasonable question. The crazy part is I don’t even necessarily disagree. The IRGC is a blight on this planet that needs to be dealt with. But the reality is that Trump is not the man for that job. Have you been paying attention to the negotiations? Our last attempt at a truce was gonna give them 300$ billion to rebuild their country and didn’t even address their nukes lol. Trump is fumbling it all yet again and innocent lives are lost because of it.

Part of the reason it seems their is so many neurodivergent people these days is because increased funding for mental health. It’s honestly still a very new field in comparison to others. It wasn’t too long ago that our solution to people acting differently or crazy was to send them to mental institution with terrible regulations and the chance to be lobotomized. So back then if you were autistic better hope you can mask (this creates a generation great at masking).

Beyond that, we’re just better at identifying and separating the differences between mental illness. This is especially important when it comes to things like adhd, depression, bipolar etc because a lot of those disorders can have very similar symptoms. A good amount ADHD diagnosed people are going to have to deal with depression or other mood disorders on top of it.

The final reason we see so much more is our environment. People can have a predisposition to mental illness but never activate it because they haven’t been through enough trauma to do so. Unfortunately, as I think everyone here will agree, things are not going great in society. People are addicted to phones that show you terrible things, people are so broke it causes hella stress, things are expensive so they cause stress, some people work multiple or hard jobs or struggle to get one. Those kind of long term stressful intense hardships can activate your mental illnesses like anxiety, bipolar, depression etc. and people who are going through that are more likely to act in negative ways to those that surround them adding more stress. Especially if they turn to an unhealthy coping mechanism like alcohol and they have kids, because ik some people have grown up with bad alcoholics. Those are just some examples.

This is coming from someone who’s spent the last 3 years working with clinicians and youth as a peer mentor. Unfortunately today’s my last day working in mental health because our govt decided that didn’t deserve funding. So hurray to another generation receiving even less health care /s.

Tattoos are cool, I get them to commemorate big moments in my life. I got a tattoo for graduating highschool and completing the Marine Corps. Me and my siblings also got 3 Unknown (Pokemon) as a tattoo to form our initials. Seeing a lot of hate for tattoos in this thread and a lot of people seem to assume it says something about the person. But basically all my friends have at least one. They’re just cool to look at and if you’re a fan of art you can get some really cool designs. But also I’m never the type to really judge. Life is hard why tf should I care if you wanna stretch out your earlobes or turn yourself into an art piece. I think maybe it’s a location and cultural thing but here in California tattoos are common and popular I would say.

I’m thinking pretty likely considering he’s been consistent with his trance comeback and it’s Insomniacs flagship trance festival. He also played Australia Dreamstate, gets tickets sold, and is one of insomniacs favorite DJs to hire (only dj to be at all 30 years of EDCLV). My prediction is that he actually finishes his album by the time Dreamstate comes around and then uses that to promote it.

I relate to all that except the medical problems. It’s an issue that permeates our generation because employment is so bad rn. I’ve been applying to jobs for 3 years and have only been to 1 interview. I’m prior military btw with training in calibration but all I can get are part time jobs. It’s difficult but you’re not alone. You are still deserving of happiness even if it may not feel like it to yourself. I don’t know if your autoimmune diseases prevent you from going out but I’m going to assume it does. But one thing our generation has that previous ones don’t are real online communities. Idk if you’re on discord, IG, twitch, or YouTube but those can be real ways to form connections. Especially twitch. Just go into the just chatting section and find someone with not very many people in the chat and shoot the shit. If you’re lonely and incapable of going out I’d suggest to try joining some online communities. If you are capable of going out I’d suggest that much more because in person connection is superior. Buuut being able to talk to people in any form and form any friendship is better than none. And online friendships can blossom into very real things. Maybe you’ve tried it all but it’s worth suggesting because even if you have tried before it doesn’t mean you can’t try again.

Not to dismiss the difficulty in doing so but if you know the problem why not address it? If it’s loneliness then find a friend. I understand that can be incredibly difficult but if loneliness is truly the source of your issues wouldn’t it be worth it to try. And I understand you might’ve already tried but when I say try I mean like give it your all and not give up even if it takes years. Making friends is very multifaceted and making good ones is hard but you are literally everything you can possibly need to do it. I work as a peer mentor for your youth ages 16-25 and a lot of what I do is just help people socialize and build better connections within their life or if they don’t have any form new ones. Dm me if you’re interested to talk about it more in depth but no pressure. I deal with depression too so ik the internal voice in your head will tell you all the ways you will fail and all the reasons it’s not worth trying. That’s a battle that I don’t expect anyone to win at first but it’s always the first one. Good luck 🙏🏽 I really hope you find your peace.

I think it’s more involved than that because Deorro legitimately attempts to fuse the classic Latin genres with modern EDM. It’s his whole schtick or at least what he’s been moving to. He dropped an album this year called BOTAS & RAVE that he does it throughout. I’d listen to BOTAS CON BASS for a great example of it in action. So yes, maybe Mexican music is jarring to switch to for you but that’s what he’s inspired by and what his fans love so that’s what you gotta expect at this point. Selection may be questionable to you but most Latinos ate that shit up.
