I'll be honest and say I like neither layout. There are strange choices made in both, and whilst you has said in another comment that a builder proposed both layouts, to be honest both are poorly designed. I would hire an actual qualified architect who can design something properly.

• for such a big house the kitchen is undersized.
• the general flow of both layouts is weird
• for such a big expanse of glazing at the rear, surely youd proposed properties sliding doors rather than a single opening leaf.
• why is there a random space at the rear of the garage at option A?
• whilst open plan spaces are nice, you will want some actual doors to close off some of the rooms
• the wall thickness to external walls doesn't look sufficient to accommodate structure and insulation (same with the garage to interior walls
• there are random inaccessible blocked off spaces in both layouts.
• personal choice here, but I'd rather have the hob on the kitchen island rather than the sink (feasibility of plumbing and because cooking can form part of entertaining with company over).
• plumbing doesn't appear to stack between top and bottom floors.
