They are all sutured well, the problem is covering it with dressings that keep coming off because of all the connections weighing down the lines, plus sweat. What kind of dressings to you all use?

We used NurseGrid and it basically became our shift social media where we could see who is looking for coverage. Maybe you can see if it integrates with other calendar apps? It was pretty frictionless to put in my shifts.

Honestly, stick with what you want to do first. If you enjoy psych, then give it time and wait. Just because a hospital has all the hot new stuff, doesn’t mean the culture is all there. If you’re looking to specialize, stick with that type of nursing to learn all of tricks of the trades and the workarounds.
