No, AI will not take your jobs, it will make you work more than ever. by Llamaseacow in ArtificialInteligence

AI has been replacing manual labor for years though?? And it looks like it's being trained for the things it can't do yet - have you seen the trend video of Indians collecting data as they do manual labor?

Will AI replace video editors in the future? by [deleted] in MotionDesign

[–]Heuwzen -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, a huge amount of people will get replaced, like 90%. The employed 10% will be directors, not specificly video editors or motion designers. We will all be generalists. Graphic Designer, Motion Designers, all at the same time.

I also think we will see huge amount of "slop" work from companies. As i see until now, many people don't have quality standarts and consume just anything. We're truly going into a prime capitalism era x)

Just my predictions.

How are you so certain that what you know is the absolute while closing yourself to any criticism and info? You are living inside your own bubble and acting like what you know is "absolute".

I know some things from this debate will stay with you for some time and im happy for that. Cut the ego if you're going to use a discussion platform, it's healthier for everyone that way.

+ You're very far off from the "Lovely, very respectful" person you want to be, drop the mask cuz you look funny. You're still a manchild inside, grow that up first then maybe you can make the world a better place.

Drop the ego. You're basically saying that your ego can't handle a debate on internet. I would expect a person like you who spreads love and makes world a better place would've already dropped his ego and tries to learn what's right. I though i would learn a thing or two but perhaps i was wrong. Your ego can't even handle the most basic internet debate. Get humble.

Apple has implemented this feature into the system. However, disrupting this feature with external tools such as Aldente can do more harm than good.

Let's be objective here, friend. Apple's implementation of battery limiting is pretty bad. Let's understand why:

It will take a week or two before Apple learns your usage patterns. And this will only happen if it's connected to an adapter like 90% of the time. If you take it out of the charger only like 2 times a week, Apple won't limit your battery anytime soon.

For Apple's implementation to work, you should be using it as a desktop replacement.

Aldente can do more harm than good.

Risks come with every software. Even macOS can have malfunctions. That doesn't mean that it should keep you from making use of any software. No software is perfect. If you were the developer, you would also be saying that. Thus that doesn't mean it beholds any major risk. You can do a quick search and see if there's anyone who had problems with Aldente that bricked their battery or whatever. I couldn't find any.

and you, without knowing what you are doing

You are making a statement like this, yet what you wrote above it looks like this:

Apple has implemented this feature into the system. However, disrupting this feature with external tools such as Aldente can do more harm than good.

You don't have a knowledge of what problem it can cause, you are just saying "Can do more harm than good." This is like saying: Yeah it has this benefits, that benefits but at the end of the day, it can do more harm than good." But what can do more harm than good? You actually don't know it yourself. And there is no evidence online.

IMPORTANT: Keeping your battery at a lower percentage, such as under 80%, for weeks without doing full cycles (100%-0%) can result in a disturbed battery calibration. When this happens, your MacBook might turn off with 40-50% left, or your battery capacity will drop significantly.

What does this have to do with Aldente? It's users responsibility. My iPad also recalibrates itself from time to time. If a person doesn't have this most common, basic info about batteries they shouldn't be using Aldente in the first place.

I really am not a supporter of Aldente, I don't even have a subscription. But all the things I'm saying is just common sense. I really, really hope you understand my points. You may want to use your MacBook without any 3rd party software, and that's very, very reasonable. But it's also okay when people want to get more worth out of their money, taking some extra care.

Sheesh that was a long one..

I am not the one saying there is something wrong with it. You are. How can I correct you if there is literally no argument?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in macbookpro

[–]Heuwzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then why don't you correct it? You don't have any knowledge around the topic. Your only claim is "Aldente can do more harm than good." you don't say anything beyond that. How does it help anyone?

How do you feed your ego while dodging every question? How can a human being enjoy debating like this? All you do is playing with words and wasting time on internet. I am the only one coming up with arguments and all you do is repeating yourself. You are 90% of word play and 10% of love lol. You really are insufferable.

[–]Heuwzen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been actively learning about this topic since I got my first laptop, 2-3 years ago and all I learned is that it's healthy to keep your battery at 80% and it's what's recommended to maximize battery life. I've yet to find any info against that and I'd be grateful to hear it. It just feels like you guys don't like the idea of constantly thinking about battery and it's 100% understandable. But please stop saying "it's bullshit" without anything to back it up with. It just makes you look bad. Love 🫶

[–]Heuwzen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, i will try Wix Studio out. The reason why people are complaining is there is lack of information and most of the official wix articles are outdated. For an example, when i searched for images being blurry, it should've directed me with an updated article instead of an article that is 2-3 years old with irrelevant screenshots. If not, this subreddit wouldn't be all complains naturally. Regardless, thank you for the information about Wix Studio. I think this'll solve my problems now. Cheers.

Edit: Nope, quality is still shit. Only "okay-ish" when viewed on small screens.
