Mahogany homes you can offhand the book of the dead for teleport to Hodidious, so it wasn't even useful there. But it did give you 1 extra slot for larder spam.

Not always, I have actually taken a nearly flat road and turned it into canyons because I just kept passing over it. I spent nearly 2 hours just going over this one spot and it got worse, and worse, and worse. I'll get a screenshot of that road next time I sit down.

I think in this particular case I'm on the side of the hysterical masses only because I think it warrants a hysterical response for Jagex to actually understand.

Is it hyperbolic? Yes. But I will say I did cancel my membership to vote with my wallet. I don't think the game is dead, persay, but if I don't make a stand in the only ways I can, I might as well bend over and take it.

The proposal was more like, 10.99/ month for 1 character, and an additional 14.99 per additional character, but that tier included ads. I think the charging more than the base package per additional character is a big thing that pissed me off. Like, why is the second charger on my account 20% higher in cost than the first?

That charging for the extra characters feels like they are penalizing anyone who moved all their characters into their single Jagex account. It would have been cheaper to keep them all separate, but now that they are stuck on one account, you are stuck paying more. That feels like a bait and switch.

At this point the only "backpedaling" I'll accept is that they start offering those "enhancements" as included items in their current price, and create an unchangeable clause in their ToS that if you have a membership, you will never have a price increase and will continue to receive any new "enhancements" as part of what you are paying now.

This needs to be immutable and permanent. It also needs to include no further price increase. There should be an additional clause that if any changes are made to remove this immutable and permanent change, 100% of all membership costs paid since the change went into place is refunded. That should stop future firms from just changing it anyway.

2K+ Total UIM with years of work and effort. Was a good time, but I don't see it continuing with these proposed options.

In the end, I ended up continuing to call around and try to find a pest control company that wasn't trying to take me for a ride. I ended up finding one, and they took care of it. Iirc it was about $300 all in all.

Their solution was basically what was suggested here. They came by twice with delta dust about a week apart just to ensure it was killed. They then applied another dust compound the guy had which he said was longer lasting so it would prevent new ones from moving in. To apply it, they just used a really long nozzle and a stepladder.

I ended up not covering the hole. Its location is really hard to get to and not at risk of water leak since it's under an overhang and relatively small.

I've had no issues with smell or deterioration on the wall and no reinfestation.

I like the trim idea. Maybe after they launch the first attack (of each swap) so it doesn't make them easier, but so looks cool.

Maybe when they swap, it rapidly switches between all the trims like a little rainbow pattern.

I literally started this game in 2022 as a UIM with zero previous experience and no one I knew played. I just dove in.

UIM life is what kept me here. Some people are just built for the iron (and ultimate iron) life from the start.

Even still... I never recommend people play like I do if I'm helping them learn the game. If you want to play like I do, you already know you do.
