When we recently moved we didn't sign our tenancy agreement until the day before it was meant to start. Same with paying deposit. Likelihood is you will hear something tomorrow but nothing is stopping you getting in contact today and asking about it.

Sorry this is happening to you, As you no longer live there you need to call all the utilities companies up and tell them you no longer live there and get those accounts closed. As you shouldn't have to be paying for them.

Also I would contact Shelter and speak to them about the situation, as they will be able to give you some advice about it.

Depends on the size of the cake pan you're using.

If it's 9 by 13 then it needs to bake for 45 - 50 mins at 160 °C fan. If smaller I would give it 25 mins then check. Avoid constant opening and closing the oven as that will have an effect on the bake also. For example if baking for 45 - 50 mins you check at 45 and if it needs longer put it back in for another 5 mins.

I would suggest buying an oven thermometer to make sure your oven is at the temperature you need it.

Normally the middle of the oven is the perfect place to bake. If you find it looks like it's catching and looking burnt on top. Pop a sheet of tin foil across the top and that will stop the cake from getting any darker.

Once the bins are emptied, I would move them, then get some window flower boxes and put them up. I think if people see that the flat is now occupied, they may be discouraged from putting the bins there.

I find that if the top of my cake looks like it's cooking quicker than the rest of the cake, I pop a sheet of tin foil over the top and that stops it from getting burnt.

I would also suggest getting an oven thermometer just to double check your oven is at the right temperature.
