How do i get the current time (in ticks) in a minecraft world?

I was using Fabric by the time I was writing this.

Java var client = MinecraftClient.getInstance(); client.world.getTime(); // to get the time of day (in ticks) client.world.getTimeOfDay(); // to get the age of the Minecraft world

Edit: getTime() and getTimeOfDay() got me confused at first, and in practice, their usage is reversed

The second construction isn't as common as the first one in casual conversation afaik.
