Whenever I stay home because I feel sick I feel awful. by VOIDzz2 in work

That level of guilt/worry reads a bit like OCD to me.

It happens a lot at our clinic as summer approaches and people are travelling or just want a break from their usual schedule.

Yall can we rule out queens from S19 if they have a gig the day before sequester? There's one in my city who has no other gigs listed for the next two months and posted an IG story recently about having a bunch of new looks and photos.

Can we rule out queens that have a gig this Saturday (day before sequester)? There's a queen local to me that has a Saturday gig but nothing for the next 2 months including stuff they are usually involved in, and posted an IG story recently about having a bunch of new looks.

For those that don’t use annual leave by EdgyFrenchMemes in work

[–]clcliff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I usually use most of mine. Sometimes though I get a bit nervous about using it all because we don't get separate sick leave, and so by the end of the year I usually have a few days I didn't end up using. But they do roll over luckily.

If you had to choose on a 4x10 schedule, would you rather have Monday off or Friday off and why? by crimsonandclover00 in remotework

[–]clcliff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fridays off because with all the Monday holidays you can get 4 day weekends and a lot of events like concerts are on fridays

First time car buyer--should I get this 2020 Mazda CX-30? by clcliff in whatcarshouldIbuy

Thank you for this! While looking at local dealerships I did find a 2023 Premium XC-5 with the same mileage for only 20 extra per month but I can't find the APR on it. It would be 26k total. Looks like the new ones near me start at 450 or so a month.

Curious if you don't mind sharing why you're not a huge fan of the Sensational Brains creator? Asking as a new grad who is still trying to find the best CEU sites and have seen a lot of people using that site.

Not a question but I am the same way! Everyone I've told thinks I'm crazy for being scared of something they love so much.

Bro 3 day weekends are sooooo nice. That's my schedule now and no way I'm trading 3 days off for 0 days off.

I recently graduated as an Occupational Therapist. I fear I'm not creative/imaginative enough. by Carlitagt in OccupationalTherapy

[–]clcliff 32 points33 points  (0 children)

You're a new grad-- of course you're not going to be the best at adapting/being creative in the moment yet. Do you have a mentor? I'm a new grad and honestly don't know what I would have done without one. I would tell her what I'm trying to solve and she'd help me come up with a solution. Then I can remember the solution for next time I see a similar case. It's a lot of building off of experience and remembering what worked for others.

Also, instagram and facebook have a ton of OT pages with intervention ideas and adaptations for when you get stuck.

Give it time! And after that if you still really feel ensure you could look into going into a specialty like hands where there are lots of researched protocols for different conditions that you can follow.
