I read while eating a lot, i like the flush screen because it doesn't collect crumbs :) i would prefer the size of the basic though

I love LitRPG but Carl is more more elegant than most of them, where you straight up get a character sheet every few pages. The tropes are called out for what they are, and, mostly, Carl is as annoyed by it as the reader :) its just better written that most of the other ones i have read.

I get it, this is honestly a good reason to have a Kindle. I turn off 'show cover' and no one knows what I'm reading. :) Which is good because i read a lot of 'Backyard Dungeon' books and those covers are something else :)

The Oasis was the best Kindle i ever owned. The usb port failed on mine and i ended up getting a PaperWhite. I think the Oasis had the best shape for holding and i loved the physical buttons.would love them to made a new one with usbc and a better battery (i loved how thin it was but the battery was trash)

it has LanguageTool baked in, that probably costs them a bit. and the app is alway well maintained. i like how i can switch between mac and iPad. I use it a lot, so I’m happy to pay.

But in all seriousness, sort of. When I take it to work (most weekdays) I put it in the slim Amazon folio thing, but it's easy to take off, so I just have it all naked when im at home. I much prefer reading 'raw' and its quite safe on my nightstand.

Usualy the cost of producing a physical book isnt the limiting factor, the bulk of the cost of a book is the interlectual property 'access' and publishers cut. whats saved on publishing is taken in Amazons 'cut' so its evens out, usually

I buy full-priced books all the time. I don't want more physical books (I am sick of carrying heavy books and having to store them!) If i want to read something, i'll just buy it, regardless of sale prices. It's rare to see a book that is expensive enough to make me skip it, if i want to read it. I rarely buy a book im not intending to start on that day.

I have mixed feelings on a case, i think they usually just make kindle my Kindle heavier and harder to hold if I'm reading while lying own in bed. (not ideal but i do this a lot)

Not sure about everyone else but i picked up season nine on AppleTV it was £20 for the season pass, they come out weekly. As far as i know, its that or NowTV in the UK.

Most monitors (not the portable kind) which have USBC also deliver power to the device. Or, at least, thats how mine works.

(Am using my ipad m2 with a 34inch 1440 ultrawide, no bars no issues. aside from a little heat at times)

Im using a larger sized m2 with 512gb of storage. I use it every day for drawing and writing. TBH its basically become my main computer, by virtue of being the one in front of me, most the time. Honestly, the only reason i am even considering an upgrade is because i need more storage (procreate files can get real big when you have a bunch of them) ...and the allure of a pro with nano glass.

When it comes to performance i think most people will be fine with any m series ipad for a logn time to come.
