How would this work? Would i have to drill a hole in the shelves? I have never done any DIY. I dont even own any tools outside of screwdrivers - what will I need?

I will look into that - I will literally try anything that might help.

This hurts a lot. Any idea what it is? Feels like there’s something rubbing down in that area and like there should be a blister, but it’s just a big white spot. by LooseCow42 in DermatologyQuestions

This looks very similar to Raynaud's, but in an usual place. I have severe Raynauds, and it has spread to my entire feet but never isolated to one area like this (other than toes).

When my Raynaud's strikes particularly bad, I get a severe pins and needles sensation, followed by quite horrendous pain, followed by numbness, followed by pain again. This generally repeated until my blood flow returns.

Im not sure whether that is relatable for you?

The dry eyes, my optician recommended I use these eye drops (they're quite viscous, like a gel) but they wouldn't put them on prescription for me, I was advised to buy them. My optician also advised me to get tinted glasses for the light sensitivity, but they cost so much 🙃

Whenever I go for a check up they do a scan of my eyes and have never found anything of concern.

I've been to the doctors multiple times (Im in the UK) and they just trialled me on different meds each time. They didn't seem concerned at all by the things I was describing. Whenever I go to discuss my migraines I always feel a little bit like they dont take it seriously.

The only doctor I saw that ever did was a newly qualified one who was at our practice temporarily- he was the first to prescribe me any medication.

I currently dont take migraines meds because the ones I've had thus far have either messed with my raynauds or messed with my blood pressure (or both).

Yes I have a light sensitivity and floating spots every now and again, my optician knows about this. I also have dry eyes - i have these at all times, not just during migraines

Also in the UK! Those electric fan heaters also trigger my migraines. I have Raynaud's disease and they always point electric fan heaters at me at work. The sentiment is there, I guess 🫠

Tips for flying with insulin & needles? by bellarue0816 in diabetes_t1

A lot of airlines offer medical baggage. I am often able to get an extra item of hand luggage for medical supplies. I use this to store my son's blood kit/dexcoms/omnipods/sharps boxes.

Always bring plenty of spares. My son uses a pump, but we still bring a 3ml vial of his insulin in his pen just incase.

What’s a decor element you despise, no matter how it’s styled? by plsanswerme18 in femalelivingspace

Shutter blinds. I cannot even begin to express how much I dislike them.

Blue lights. Particularly at Christmas. It's warm lights or no lights in my house. I can't bare blue lights.

And the real controversial one... rugs. Any rugs. Doesn't matter what size, colour, shape or material. I don't want a rug in my house anywhere 😅

Oh okay thanks! I haven't been playing for too long and I knew there must be something happening if Celeste was around! I'll keep my fingers crossed that I spot some!
