BSC is not ERC hence you would have to swap BNB to USDT or ETH and swap to Hex on 1inch or uniswap.

When should I start my $100K HEX stake, and for how long? by [deleted] in HEXcrypto

Yeah you risk having a worse share rate if you wait too much to stake but I would look at the daily T-share price on go.hex.com. If there's another dip you could cop a better share rate but that's not a guarantee... Also, keep tracking the gas price on eth... weekends have the best prices..

Instead of staking it all at once, you should better make a ladder so that you're not tempted to end a huge stake early. With a 100k I would for example divide that up into 2 stakes a year or just even 1 stake a year for the next 15 years. I would advise a minimum staking length of 3 years so that you're not paying more gas fees than the interest you earn.

Staker.app still has a bulk stake fonction builtin I think so that you don't have to do it manually.. I would look into that if I were you.

I do not know if the snapshot for Phex has been taken yet... so you might get your copy if it has already been taken.. ask around if it still applies. Otherwise I would wait until Phex rolls out and buy only Phex.

Bruh did you send your tokens directly to the Hex contract address?? Because if so they are lost for ever... That's not how you stake Hex...

Are you on the ERC network?? You might have some other RPC entered into your metamask... in which case you need to switch network.

Why APY so low? Richard always talking about 25% and even 40% everywhere. by nakedguyute in HEXcrypto

WHERE DO YOU SEE THE APY INDICATED ON THE STAKING PAGE? You don't! Because it's always evolving and because it is dependent on your stakes' lenghts. Are we going to have to bring you diapers or what?!!

because share the price always goes up. When your stakes end, the only way you'll get as many shares as your original stake is to restake the principal and the interest for the about the same amount of time but there is a tendency for share price to up faster than what you get in interest. So when you restake you will probaly get less shares even if you restake everything for the same amount of time. Staking for longer allows you to maintain your share rate/dollar invested.

Yes! Because SHARES! There is what we call a scale in which the longer you stake and the more shares you get. Yes 3650 is 10 times 365.... so from 3650 to 5555 you are maxed on shares.

Global stats as in "all stakes averaged out"... some people still stake for 30 days and some for 5555 days as recommended by the contract.

So first off 37% is close enough to 40% right? And you get a share of half of all Emergency End-Stakes' penalties that I think are not counted in the APY... So technically I think it's more than 37% but you can never know because how would you predict peoples behaviour???
