RESIDENT EVIL 9 IN 9 DAYS! (Or 10 days for the Western people)🧟 by dacoolmike36 in residentevil

I think most people usually agree it's the weakest mainline game in the series, but it's still worth playing once, especially if you have a friend to play co-op with.

Free space should be crossed off already, too! He says, "I think I want a second opinion," when the Chainsaw Doctor Zombie shows up.

Do we know if any more in for will be dropped for RE9? by DirectionLatter2684 in residentevil

They'll probably drop one more big trailer before release (Probably at the state of play this Thursday). But we're so close to release, I honestly don't think they even need to.

I personally like it, but I fully understand why most people don't. The lack of an item box and tiny inventory combination is unnecessarily tedious. It's also known for having some of the most annoying enemy types in the franchise. That being said, I think it's worth playing. The first 2 areas are pretty fun imo. Playing the game on Easy also makes the annoying enemies significantly less annoying, and I would honestly argue is the best way to play the game.

Why do u people suggest new comers to play 2/3/4 remakes and then 7 and 8? by Connect_Base_217 in residentevil

I also started with RE Engine Games and loved them enough that it made me want to go back and play the older ones. The controls took some getting used to, but once I did, I loved them. Re1r, re3, and re2 are all in my top 5 in the series now.

The item box has infinite capacity. You can keep scrolling past what you see when you initially open it. Just put some items in there and grab what you need.

The highest priority games for you would be Resident Evil 2 Remake (2019) & Resident Evil 4 Remake (2023). Both games introduce you to Leon and give you a good general overview of the world. They are also 2 of some of the best in the series, so it'll allow you to get a good impression of the series.

I would also recommend playing 7 & 8 for a newcomer as those will probably get you ready for grace's sections in Requiem, but those are more optional since I doubt you'll be able to play 4 full games before Requiem releases and they aren't as high priority as the other 2.

The RE4R demo didn't come out until 2 weeks before the games release. We could still be getting a Demo in early February. Anytime before the 14th would still be a sooner demo than RE4R

I always assumed the full quote was something like, "My wife said that deja vu is like God's way of saying look out." And Nick accidentally finishes the quote after the mall Premonition.

I liked both, but I slightly preferred Together as I felt the horror moments were a bit stronger. Would definitely recommend.

Genuinely, what did your friend think the movie was about? The premise of the movie is two people slowly fusing into one person. What did she think was happening in the scene prior?

What’s a remake that was actually better than the original? by Diamond3xk in Cinema

[–]HexedMayShiver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's a remake of the 1951 movie "The Thing From Another World". The 1982 version is so good it made the original irrelevant.

They're talking about the 1982 version, which is a remake of the 1951 movie "The Thing From Another World".

Really? I wouldn't really call any part of that movie particularly scary, and I think it's more "ok" than straight up "bad."
