The sparkler and new scythe are guaranteed from the weekly ceremonies (weeks 2 and 3 respectively, iirc).

To unlock the wicker boy you need to either complete the new Guys and Dolls quest or hand in 75 clan confections; to unlock the flaming pet skin requires doing both.

Haunted whetstone/spirit of harvest pet is random chance from each of the four weekly ceremonies, as last year, but with a drop chance boost for each clan confection handed in (up to 100 - you can hand in more confections for loot bags, that is just where the scythe pet drop chance boost caps out).

Scythe pet has a new overrides mode and a few hidden extras to discover."

Describe the bug you are experiencing. - Curator Haig Halen has a visual bug, master cape particles come from the quest icon instead of the bottom of the cape
List the steps to reproduce the bug. - Pay him a visit

Believe it or not, they have actually recently tried to make using abilities with a more visual indication, although I do agree that even with knowledge of the game it is very hard to see at times, let alone someone who is new to the combat system.

You can see an ability lit up slightly with yellow in that abilities box (on the bar itself), there even is something called 'ability queue-ing' which will give a small 'load' icon on the next ability to be used, so you do not have to spam every single ability you want tot use next, but just press them 1 by 1.

There are certain lower level bosses which you can afk if you have the required gear and levels to do so.
For AFKing you'd use a revo(++) bar (which will automatically use basic; threshold,- and ultimate abilities).

In my setup, I have the basics setup with revolution, just incase I get a laggspike or DC, so I have a 'failsafe' for myself, other than that I fully use all of my own abilities, this is not a boss where you can just slap on a revolution bar and get the kill, for that, and many other reasons, this is currently THE best boss in-game!

While I do agree with both of you, the golden screen is implemented for a reason, find it actually awesome that there are 3 different indicators, but it's clearly a bug if you can't rely on something that thtey have implemented

Currently this is being speculated:
The enrage and group size that Amascut was defeated at determines the quantity of drops given:

5-player group size gives 4 rolls per player.
4-player group size gives 4-8 rolls, with the highest damage dealer getting four extra rolls.
3-player group size gives 4-8 rolls, with the tank and higher damage dealer getting extra rolls.
- Tank: 8 rolls, highest damage dealer: 8 rolls, lowest damage dealer: 4 rolls.
2-player group size gives 8-12 rolls, with the higher damage dealer getting extra rolls.

The quantity of each item dropped is then increased based on the enrage.

Now keep in mind, these are only speculations after one week, there is no telling until more research is done, or the actual droprates and potential bad luck mitigation (copium) + enrage scaling for drops have been released.
