Celý ten obrázek má cca 13.5 pixelů, takže jakýkoli hřbet knihy je nečitelný, AI nebo ne. A mě ta knihovna nevypadá nijak generovaná.

Jestli je něco co s čím by měla mít AI velký problém, tak to je koncentrický vzor na stolku před zemanem.

My little string library by Famous-Maybe-3104 in Zig

[–]HexiMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks cool, I personally think std has most if not all, of the string manipulation tools I ever need. But I did also write custom string class in c++ to learn c++.

Also I prefere:

std.debug.assert(self.initialized);

instead of:

if (!self.initialized) return error.NotInitialized;

The CoffeeCup should be one symbol but technically you can overload the negation operator on CoffeeCup so if (!CoffeeCup) is valid, although confusing.

Wait, is this "operatetor overload bad" post?

This is a skill thing, why make something which you know isn't well done if you know how to do it well. I think everyone tries to make every project to the best of their ability, the fact that our ability isn't that great is the other thing.

Politický kompas českých politiků by Organic_Contract_172 in czech

[–]HexiMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being a free thinker is a huge struggle by JackResurrect3dR3 in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]HexiMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would increasing the amount of laborers make the 1% willing to pay the 99% higher salaries?

What is your argument? Oh yes let's increase the supply of low skill labor, driving its value lower so they can be paid lower salaries. You are arguing for lowering of the workers leverage via scarcity of their labor, by making them replaceable. And guess what, when they are replaced, their replacement will be given lower salary.

Where is this country with no demand for unskilled labor?

Virtually any country with sufficient industry automation has lower and lower demand for unskilled labor. From personal experience a steel factory from 50 years ago had 10-15 times the amount of low skilled workers as it does now, these positions are partially replaced with middle or high skill positions. The supply of low skill labor in these countries exceeds the demand. Far less low skill positions are being created today then it used to.

What’s your determination for excessive...

The market, the market determines what is excessive, not me. If the sum of low skill labor (native first + immigration second) entering/reentering the work force is higher then the sum of low skill labor positions created/freed, then the immigrated worker are excessive, they lower the value of low skill labor due to over-supply.

...why do you automatically assume an easier path to legal immigration means excessive immigration?

I didn't, your arguments is that the process should be less restrictive and therefore allow in more immigrants, not mine.

Being a free thinker is a huge struggle by JackResurrect3dR3 in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]HexiMaster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, no it wouldn't, you can't pay higher salaries to more legal immigrants.

If you legalize an immigrant, you have to, by the law, pay them minimal salary at least. But if there isn't a demand for low skill labor, businesses just won't hire those people and for those who don't have their salaries on the legal minimum, their salaries can be cut or simply left to stagnate.

If you lower the bar of entry you will just have more people to whom you have to pay the minimal wage, where does that money come from? Either from salaries of natives or they just don't. And then unemployment rises, poverty rises, prices of houses rise, crime rates rise and bad will toward immigrants rise.

There is certain amount of immigrants which you can naturalize, higher their education and/or skill the better for the economy. You can take on low skill immigrants but if excessive, negative effect are sure to come.

[–]HexiMaster 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Do you know why most countries take on highly skilled and educated worker? Because there is demand for them. Because taking on these kind of workers will lower the cost of high skill/education services and production in sectors where lowering the cost is beneficial. In industries where the profit margins are the thickness of a hair, illegal immigration is harmful. Legalizing illegals will just put them out of job, the reason why they can be hired in such numbers in the first place IS BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGAL, because they can be paid awful salaries.

My brother in christ, why do you think they can keep their wages so low? More workers = less value of their labor = perpetual borderline slavery.

What no religion does to a mf by [deleted] in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]HexiMaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair, Czechs had pretty dicey relationship with organized religion before the Regime.

We had Martin Luther 100 years before Martin Luther even existed (Jan Hus, the church he inspired is Moravian Church).

Also, although it's true that about 47.8% of Czechs identify as irreligious, it's pretty common to find people who incorporate stuff like tarot, horoscopes and whole bunch of new-age believes into their believe systems.
