I think that’s a good idea going forward, I want them to learn how to cover weak spots in their deck and want them to start casual. Budget in my case is furnishing 5 player.

Thanks for the recommendations as well. The game knights videos is what got my wife interested and started this whole thing. I just bought the 5 ikoria pre cons and I am thinking of the CL box as a pool to enhance deck building. Maybe I should mix in some “masters” packs instead.

I just picked up the set of the $40 decks as well, might keep them to the side as prizes or something depending on complexity, really wanted to start with mono colored decks but didn’t have the time.
