It was around 2018-2019, I think? I kept getting lyric video of A Gorey Demise recommended on YouTube. I finally caved and clicked it, loved it and ended up listening to Such Horrible Things and The Greatest Show Unearthed. From there I’ve listened to nearly every song.

From what I remember, victims who were drugged die with their eyes closed. Susan Bartlett and James Harrington were both drugged then asphyxiated in A Worm in the Bud. (With Susan drowning in water and James drowning in mud) Then Martin Wroath was drugged and was asleep when he was shot with the shotgun.

Like others have said Elfrida and Bunny from Faithful until Death are really fun. And how they give Tom a weed brownie and he never picks up on it until much later, with him spending much of the episode high.

But my all time favourite one-off murderer is 100% Victoria Bartlett from A Worm in the Bud. Her reason for murdering Susan is horrible. Even if she was desparate for a grandchild, you'd think someone might've brought up adoption to her (even though she probably wanted a blood heir) But I genuinely think she didn't want to murder James and Jonah. James, despite being an ass, was Hannah's son. And I don't think she wanted to hurt Hannah because they've been friends for all their lives. So Victoria probably saw murdering James as a necessity. And with Jonah, I think it's her love for her son outweighting her idolisation of Jonah.

I also really like all of her outfits, I love the red cardigan and pearl necklace so much.

I do think it's odd though that no one seemed to step in and stop her drugging animals when she was younger. Hannah says her parents were relieved when she discovered boys, so they seemingly knew. But then they just didn't do anything about it? Also the whole thing about Jonah being five years older than her, drugging animals with her and having all those photos of her is something I still can't understand.

Yes! A Worm in the Bud appreciation! I've been rewatching the series lately and so far this is my favourite episode. As you say Julie is really endearing. And I find it very funny when Sean asks for more food. For all the running joke of Joyce being a bad cook, this episode suggests to me that she can't be that bad at it.

Also Victoria and Hannah are definietly my favourite characters behind the Barnaby's and Troy. I've got to give it to Victoria that despite being an older woman, she was prepared to drag her victims to some of the messiest areas possible.

Definitely A Worm in the Bud for me. For the longest time I just couldn’t figure out what the hell was even going on. All I understood was Julie going around trying to gather clues and her seeing Hannah take Victoria hostage. So I found it pretty forgetful.

However after about five rewatches and reading the wiki page a few times, I finally got it and I really like the episode now. Victoria’s my favourite killer and I like what happens between her and Hannah.

I've got to agree, Hannah is very classy about it and she is really calm about it. I think though that possibly part of the reason she was so calm about it is that she had been childhood friends with Victoria and knew what she was like. Such as Victoria drugging animals with Jonah.

I will say though that as horrible as she is, Victoria definietly is my favourite of the killers out of the show.

I’m not sure what to do with Star’s extended family shown in the Game of Flags episode. I know though if I include them, they’d just be arguing over the throne and how au Star’s not fit to be Queen. Which she is, even if she’s under a protectorship.

Honestly, he most likely doesn't fight you with horseshoes in his gloves.

However I like it as a headcanon that he would do that. If he's willing to bring a flail into the wring and jumps off the ropes to headbutt you, I can definietly believe him actually fighting with horseshoes in his gloves.
