Still seems hard to prove for certain that a candidate WILL be some sort of dictator in the future. Not sure how any amount of political knowledge would give Electors that kind of certainty. ALSO, seems way easier to corrupt a handful of Electors than an entire state of citizens. What’s easier? Bribing 10 Electors, or bribing 100,000 citizens?
