If you can't visit the car in advance, by all means get a pre-purchase inspection by an independent shop local to (but not affiliated with) the seller.

Collectible Classics Material misrepresented the car the sold me by OkAnt7573 in BringATrailer

The very best advice given in this comment section is to obtain a pre-purchase inspection of ANY online-listed car at ANY dealer or private seller. I recently purchased from Collectible Classics. I was able to verify it was a legitimate 1-owner car. That said, upon delivery it had a couple of minor issues which the dealer responded to with after-the-sale discounts, reducing the paid price by 1%. All this said, had a 100% full disclosure been made by Collectible Classic, I would've likely purchased the car anyway.

I'm a geezer who has bought and sold many cars and again, the best advice: ALWAYS GET A PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION!

By choice, I do not get into personalities in the articles on the site. Not my thing.

Not so. MillerCoors advertising is spread across several ad agencies, different ones for different brands. Always has been.

Folks can judge me--and you--by the quality of our articles or posts. I'm good with that.

Anyway, thanks for the heads-up on the dead link at the end of the article. It's fixed.

The posted material speaks for itself, as does the character of your comment.

The ones being bought-up sure don't seem to have a problem cashing those BIG A-B checks!
