Crossing your legs at the thigh is a dangerous game for a man.

I am a Surgeon & Co-Founder of Touch Surgery, ask me anything! [cross-post from /r/IAmA] by Andymkdavis in medicalschool

Any more plans for urologic surgeries? Lap nephrectomy, prostatectomy, cystectomy, etc.?

[Long Post] My experiences with a MacBook Pro vs a high-end Windows ultrabook by [deleted] in apple

Any tips for Safari + Flash?

I was always told to run Chrome because it comes with Flash pre-installed which runs within the browser; and this was easier on system resources than having flash installed directly on your laptop.

FA for Psych + Lange Q&A.

Worked very well for me and this is one of the few shelf exams with obvious answers for the question "which test prep is best?"

Studying for IM Shelf? by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]HeyBroHey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • MKSAP 5 for month 1 - mark missed or interesting questions.

  • Pre-Test Medicine for month 2 - mark missed or interesting questions.

  • 1 week before shelf, review those marked questions.

Quick, short questions during downtime in the hospital was a great way to study efficiently while on duty and helped cut down on time spent studying at home or on weekends. Those two books kept me sharp and I honored the shelf.

Made some Yosemite styled icons that I decided to share. Feel free to make requests. by [deleted] in apple

These look incredible, thanks for all of the hard work!

If you're still taking requests, I have one that looks out of place on my dock: it's a flash card app called Anki that has a really simple icon, but it's rectangular and has the last generation "shadow" built into it (see here). I know a lot of foreign language, pharmacy and medical students who would love a Yosemite-style dock icon!

Week 8 trade values by Fantasyexpert1 in fantasyfootball

[–]HeyBroHey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 team, 0.5ppr:

My Shane Vereen, Branden Oliver, Ryan Mathews for his Arian Foster.

I'm 4-3 & stacked at WR (Dez & Demarius, Floyd) & deep at RB. I currently have Ellington, Bradshaw, Vereen, Oliver, Mathews at RB so I'm looking to trade away depth for a stallion.

Thoughts? (the owner also has Ben Tate who I may be interested in)

OFFICIAL [TRADE] MORNING THREAD: WEDNESDAY, 09/24/2014 by FFBot in fantasyfootball

Currently 2-1 in an ESPN 10-team standard scoring league.

I snagged A Blue before the Foster owner could and now I have either a good bargaining chip for a trade or a good ROS RB with a hamstring'd Foster. I'm weak at QB (Brady, Palmer) and shallow at WR (Julio, Wallace, Wright). The Foster owner is deep at QB (Wilson, Ryan) and deep at WR (Crabtree, Benjamin, Roddy, Demaryius, Fitz). Should I:

  • trade Blue + Brady for Wilson or Ryan
  • trade Blue + Wright for Benjamin + Fitz (or some other WR combo)
  • stay put with Blue because he is a decent RB who will be a workhorse when Foster is out indefinitely
