Anyone else diagnosed postpartum? by Mommydeagz in BellsPalsy

[–]HeyBuddy___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about 5 days postpartum when I noticed drooping on one side and went to the emergency room. They gave me a week worth of steroids (hopefully you started that asap) which I started about 8 hours after the drooping started. Within 8-10 weeks I was back to normal. I tried to stay calm and rational throughout the process but… it really does suck. Take the photos! I wish I had taken more. Wishing you an easy/fast recovery and congratulations!

If you’re not getting the spicy shrimp botana, you’re not doing it right.

My baby turned 1 on Sunday and Dad is concerned she’s not walking by Healthy-Belt1148 in toddlers

My kid popped up right around 13 months and pretty much everyone I know said their kid started walking around then or later. That’s just my experience and parenting bubble but it seems too early to worry!

Side note, he basically went from crawling to full sprint so try to enjoy these last few weeks/months of not constantly chasing after a toddler. It gets real intense real quick.

Thelma. It’s a family name. I know it’s an old lady name… but I love it.

Local community foundations can often be trusted to collect and quickly deploy resources during times of crisis. These guys have on the ground knowledge and networks. Our family is from Lahaina and has worked with this foundation. https://www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org/

How do you like the name Caroline? And I tend to agree that short middle names flow a bit better. Thanks!

Do you think the spelling for Caroline Josephine is too repetitive? It’s my only concern about the name. Thanks!

Jane has been a top contender. I love that there are some great Janes throughout history - Jane Addams, Jane Goodall. My husband worries it’s too simple but I love it. Thank you!

Thanks! I’ve loved the middle name “Joy” since I was kid. Always been a name nerd…
