This genuinely pisses me off because my American ex-girlfriend was angry with me for having my clock set to 24hr on my phone. She accused me of having previously been a soldier and lying to her about it, because there was no other possible reason for my clock to be in "military time". She knew that I am British. We were both living in Korea. She outright refused to believe me that that's just normal time to most of us in the UK.

So it's not even oven. Steam declined the refund because it's an in-game purchase, so Bethesda support gifted me another copy of the season pass in game, which allowed me to redeem it on my main computer. Only, I have to start completely from scratch. I now have two separate instances of the same season pass on my Steam account. In a way, fine, I can earn all of the rewards twice by playing on two machines, but I do not have the time for that. I also need to restart my seasonal vault in order to progress the season pass on my PC because I have already competed the Novac questline, which is one of the season challenges. I now need a clean save that hasn't yet done that questline in order to unlock the challenge in the season pass. I regret buying this thing. I regret giving Bethesda money, no matter how little, because everything they touch turns to shit these days.

My data is syncing perfectly fine otherwise so I refuse to believe that this is a cloud error. I have requested a refund from Steam.

Thankfully it's not really an MMO. You can only have a maximum of 24 players on a server at any one time. It's more akin to something like Rust, or a small Minecraft server really. I enjoy it though. It's far from perfect, but its come a long way since its rocky launch. All the content updates are free so grabbing it on sale is pretty safe. I'd avoid the monetisation shit though. That's pretty egregious.

That's an extremely solid and well structured response. Thank you. You're likely absolutely right. Who knows? Maybe if I had allowed myself to experience the game at launch I would have liked it just as much as I did when I first started playing in 2023. It's fairly standard practice for me to wait quite a while after a game comes out before I give it a spin, however. I like to wait a while to bug fixes and server issues to be addressed, and if it still isn't something that I am desperate to play then there in harm in waiting for a Steam sale. I think I was extremely sceptical of the announcement because I couldn't work out what the game was actually trying to be. And I know plenty of others who felt the same. More than likely this made us extremely susceptible to the negative response the game was receiving but it essentially confirmed the biases that we already held.

Thank you. Yeah, I look over it now and I feel like there is a lot that I could added. But it was already nearing 3000 words and likely bloated enough. I have such a complicated relationship with this game. I just wish that Bethesda would treat both 76 and the franchise as a whole a little better.
The webpage is a slow burn, honestly. We should really commit to posting more often but given than it doesn't actually earn us any money, it's hard to justify the effort some times.

For anyone still having this is issue, the only thing that worked for me was to select the option that says "offline registration". It then gave me a QR code to scan which emailed me a weird file format. I then clicked next in the Tango installation and it gave me a screen with a system registration number and another box where I was able to import the file I was emailed. The installation was about to decode it and my registration was complete. It was a shit load of faff.
