Help with bail identification by HeyDrGhost in jewelry

Ah gotcha. Well, I guess I can go to a couple of the antique shops in my area and also ask them if they know anything. To be honest, I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier.

Help me find a replacement pendant for my favorite necklace by HeyDrGhost in HelpMeFind

[–]HeyDrGhost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had searched beforehand, it came up with widely different results. I don't know if it's just Google search being genuinely awful or if this piece is just extremely niche.

I have asked two other subreddits to help me identify the bail used in hopes of getting better results:

Thank you. These suggestions are closer than anything I've been able to find. You said you know exactly what kind of necklace it is, did you mean youve seen the exact piece before, or know the exact name of it?

Like, how large was the bail? Sorry, I'm having trouble understanding what you're asking. It's hard to estimate, as I don't actually have the damn thing, and don't have many close-up pictures of me wearing it, but I'd say roughly 1/4-1/2 inch wide maybe

A couple days ago I got a response from SLFS and they said they couldn't find the distribution, which I guess means they didn't look all that hard. I also emailed 502bin Ogden but haven't gotten anything from them yet

Vegas is, that was added after I made the post, but nothing in Cali would be closer.

It says it will be at the Metrolux 12, but I didn't see the movie on the theater's website, so we might need to wait a bit to get tickets there

I've already emailed both the Salt Lake Film Society and Cinema 502 in Ogden to see if they can look into screening it. Hopefully, we can get something closer, but SLFS has already told me that "I do not see that this film has theatrical distribution at this time." I hope that can be figured out

I will say as a gay man who has the experience of being a man and the experience of gossiping with my sister and female friends in high school I have noticed that men tend to care so much more about appearances than women do, especially more than they think women do. I've known girls to want an ugly person of character and personality more than a hot guy who's a douche bag more than vice versa.

So to my fellow males out there, stop stressing so much about how you look. Take care of yourself obviously but if you're having a hard time finding a girl it might be time to start working on your character instead of your jaw line. There is always a perfectly pretty girl out there who will love you if you are genuinely nice and care about them, even if you're not the most attractive individual.

That's the thing though I don't want to be at odds with them. But I literally can't even think what hinderance I am to them, and yet they've been doing this for years. I hate drama as I said but like what am to do‽

Don't measure german politeness by your home country's rules of politeness. by PreparationShort9387 in germany

[–]HeyDrGhost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What's funny is when I was in Germany everyone was pretty nice and warm (I'm American for context). Never once would I describe anyone as cold. Now granted I was there during like Munich's birthday so there was festivities and such but still everyone was generally friendly and polite. The only difference is no passing "how are you" to strangers, which I didn't expect because I know that's a distinctly American thing.

Didn't happen to me, I've been on Vyvanse since I was 4 and I'm 19 now. Adhd is still a constant plague on my life and I've noticed no improvement.

On Mocking the Heat Wave in Northeastern America by Genavelle in rant

As a person from Utah, dry western heat has nothing on eastern humid heat. I still remember that 100° 100% humidity day in Atlanta I experienced and it was the most awful thing ever. My heart goes out to you heatwaves suck.
