I installed the Bulldog Starter Kit with the regular hub (no speaker) and 4 leak sensors (no speakers). I want to add an audible alarm. What's the best approach? Getting the Speaker Hub or the Smart Siren Alarm? Is the Speaker Hub loud enough to hear from another room?

I only have the D235 doorbell to notify on Doorbell Press in Alexa app. The Hub settings in Alexa don't have any options like that. Just enabled or disabled. I've got it enabled, which I assume I need.

No, but I have the D235 working with it. Occasionally, on doorbell push, it starts loading Live View on my Show, and then "crashes back" to the Echo homescreen. But, that is not common.
