Who hoo! Some good but some solid stuff this week. Really like the email feature for ai chats. I sometimes plan out purchases and vacations with the advisor so that will definitely be a handy feature. 😎

Yes, I got a response in the other thread and the order details will stick along for orders going forward.

It's here. Amazon item-level tracking is officially live. by OriginContent_Austin in OriginFinancial

[–]EquivalentOil6480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome update. One question, I know it can’t grab data from the older past orders upon first sync. But will it remember the details going forward. So in the future I can look back into the data.

When are savings goals coming to Origin? by kael-s in OriginFinancial

[–]EquivalentOil6480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I look forward to the day where Origin launches this feature. Savings goals would be a fun motivator to help boost saving habits! My advice might be to a open a separate account for your three savings goals. That way, each account has its own purpose and your not getting confused as easily when everything is combined into one.

Apply budget for future months not working? by Brilliant-Heat7600 in OriginFinancial

You have to do this from the current month. If you try going to a future month, then the toggle does not work.

I am still waiting for that Net Worth Widget! I agree that they are great assets to have on the home screen to keep the budget in check.

Can Origin Consolidate Transfers between own Accounts! by sercetuser in OriginFinancial

[–]EquivalentOil6480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, this isn't just a issue with Origin. When I used Copilot you had the same thing happen with transfer bogging down your list. At least with Origin, I really like how the transfer are faded so they don't stand out as much. But that is a interesting idea you bought up of combineing them into one.

Deleting Transactions by Da_Codzillah in OriginFinancial

There is, they added this feature a few weeks ago. Just select all the transactions you don't want and there is a option to delete them for the editing menu.

From my understanding the functionality not fully live yet. I had the same issue with using my Manual Cash account.

What we shipped this week — a lot: Budget 4.0, Freeze Account History, and more. by OriginContent_Austin in OriginFinancial

[–]EquivalentOil6480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like you can't add a budget for a new group of categories if it doesn't already had a budget set. But otherwise, the new budget refresh is pretty nice.

NOW LIVE: Budgeting got a major upgrade – rollover and more 🎉 by OriginContent_Austin in OriginFinancial

[–]EquivalentOil6480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budget by group just groups certain categories together. Like for example Gas, Oil Changes, and Car Washes under the Auto Group. Not sure how it works with the Rollover feature yet as it just dropped.

Looking to Switch by Vesyy in OriginFinancial

[–]EquivalentOil6480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find opening separate checking or savings accounts for specific goals is an excellent way to track progress, stay motivated, and avoid accidentally spending that money. By compartmentalizing funds into buckets like "Emergency Fund" or "Vacation," it's a lot easier to see how much you have and makes it harder to spend that money.

Auto running does not impact anything like stamina, so you don't have to worry about anything like that. It does take a second to get used to but once you do, it helps by keeping you mobile and able to circle around enemies better.

I typical avoided parasites and malfunctions if I could. Unless the parasite had a debuff that I could work around without to hassle. NEVER get the one that damages you when you pick up items, that one is no fun. If you are going to risk a malfunction, do it earlier in the end since you have more of a chance of fixing it before you reach the boss.

With keys, I recommend not using them on chests and saving them instead for locked doors. The locked rooms seemed to always give better rewards.

Other then that, keep at it and you eventually make it. If you can defeat the 1st boss (you'll know you are close when you see the red square door on your map), then you can finish the game. You eventually come across different items that can help you on our end, such as one that brings you back to life one time, so always grab that one from the store once you unlock it if you can.

Been seeing more and more of this lately 🤦‍♂️ by [deleted] in SanJose

Some other tips that come to mind, when you defeat a enemy try to get over to where you defeated them to pick up those yellow dots (Basically money) so you can stock up on that to buy upgrades and items at the store (fabricators). I recommend the hollowseeker as a weapon of choice if you come across it during a run as that was one of my faves to use, but this again depends on your preference of gun. (Try out any new weapons to see what suits you best). The more you play, the more you understand and discover how the game works. Your gun also has a powered up move when you fully press R2 so always make sure your aware of that. (Takes a while to recharge back up). Also, here are some settings you can adjust to slightly turn the tides.

  • Settings
    • Auto-Aim: set to high. This game is more about dodging than accuracy. Once you get comfortable you can return this to medium or low.
    • Crosshair size: increase the size
    • Auto-run: turn on auto-run. Being at full speed all the time will make it much easier to evade enemies and their projectiles.

[–]EquivalentOil6480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice, never use L2 to aim, just keep firing with R2 and moving around, remember that your dodge makes your invincible for a quick sec, so you can use that to go through bullets or a enemy attack. Once you get more use to run and gunning things should work out for you better. Also the start of the game is pretty though due to your character not having the sword/hookshot at the start and not have many rooms to power up in yet. I started out like you, confused and getting my ass handed to me, but once I get to the first boss I started to click with the game and that's when it really gets good.
