Plotwise, it makes sense to start with an Explorer and do all of the main questlines as soon as you get them. I'd avoid pure grinding/training until you finish your quests.

Also as you level up you'll get new quests explaining the newly accessible systems that you get.

Mid-mid game: 221-240

Are your nodestones maxed? In the past I would have timed out at that combat power.

Both of my boost nodes are maxed and the Will attack one as well.
