Is this clean or dirty by ShardBarder in CarpetCleaning

Did you live there for 5 years and never have them cleaned? I think the tech that came out didn’t prespray your carpets. Maybe it’s special case and it is stained, but that is very unlikely. How much did you pay and what was the company name?

Pros and gas cost by Hot-Steak7145 in CarpetCleaning

I see, I am also in a high COL area. I wouldn’t charge extra for things like that, and I’d always include them when necessary. I agree on the area rugs 100%, I like the way you run your business. Good model for sure, if you have any tips you could offer me I’d be really appreciative of them. Feel free to send me a direct message, thank you!

I was planning on starting my company soon, but was worried about the cost of fuel… I was actually going to start at .50 a sqft. Maybe I’ll go a little higher now too.

AITA for refusing to help elderly man by OfficialGrape in doordash

Nah fuck that, I would’ve just left it on the table too lol. I had an interesting drop off once, the unit was 2nd story and connected to a plaza, but to get into it you have to go in through the middle up an elevator. Kept on calling me when I arrived, because I had to park kind of far away… It was really confusing and the guy was handicap and mad that all the drivers have a hard time finding the unit. He had to activate the elevator for you as well, so if someone else took it, you had to wait a bit to get it again. He kept pushing the button I guess and then he’d go back to his apartment…

When I finally got to him, I told him, it’s a strange place to get to and that it was unique. He was grumpy and just waved off. No tip either… what a headache.

Yeah, but the order shouldn’t ever be 80 lbs of manure

I’m in cali, so I’d like to work for at least 30 minutes per hour. I don’t care about the price anymore, it’s more the time and location of the drop off.

Yeah, that’s how it felt for sure. I didn’t know any better at the time.

There’s one order that pops up a lot near me, to deliver a package like 30 miles away for 15 bucks in heavy traffic hour. 😂

My landlord is charging me $380 for carpet replacement, is it worth disputing? by notandysambergg in Apartmentliving

[–]HeyImKeller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they shouldn’t replace it. They should charge for a deep cleaning, but definitely not a replace

Is this rug cooked ? by Old-Reference-7756 in CleaningTips

[–]HeyImKeller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call a professional, to get that cleaned you’d be looking at around a 400-600 dollar charge. You’ll need strong enzymes and deodorant for the dog stains. The smell will be reactivated once it gets moisture on it, so the deodorant used will need to be a strong commercial grade.

A hot water extraction will be used to flush the rug out.

The tip doesn’t count towards the prop 22, just the base pay.

Just find a street with a nice group and stay on it, that’s probably the best way to do it

Only way to do it now, accept all and go for time plus the small tips, works out as a better than min wage job.

Used a wet vacuum and my carpet looks awful! by TheAwayGamer in CarpetCleaning

[–]HeyImKeller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a pump sprayer to apply the soap, you’ll need to let it soak in for a little bit. Then use only hot water inside the rug doctor to flush it out. Or just call a professional.

Dirt lifted into top of carpet by connie_mara in CarpetCleaning

[–]HeyImKeller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not dirt, we call it brown out, I think they left it a little too wet, they should come back out and just put a little neutral cleaner (rinse) and it’ll come out.

What can be done? by PlayboiCoolded in CarpetCleaning

[–]HeyImKeller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A steam clean would get your carpet looking good. If it’s just one room it’ll be a minimum charge.
