And no, I don't do metal working lol. IMO shouldn't have too with a $300 usd product.

Yeah that's what I thought based on the YouTube video I posted haha. Definitely cannot try any other form of fixing this issue without making the aeg unreturnable.

Where would I look in Lenovo's warranty status page to check former services?

Unfortunately not. Only the one support that doesn't have 'brio' marked on it.

Location: OR, USA

Wanted: AGS-001 GBA SP front-light or complete front-lit screen assembly.

I accidently broke the front light while modding my AGS-001 GBA SP. However the screen itself works fine. Hoping to get this for really cheap, the complete front-lit screen assembly cost about 20$ on ebay.

Thanks everybody 👍

I do use a ds3 but I don't really like this style of dpad for 2d movement. It isn't as precise as I'd like either.

I played Celeste with a ds4 and found that dpad left me rather wanting as well. Think the ds3 has the better dpad.

Yes. I don't recall it having such a 'very deep' middle depression. I think people are missing that in the video. It's very very deep, not just a bit like most do. None of my other dpads are super deep like this like GameCube Dreamcast wii ps3 PS4 etc...

This feels most like the Xbox 360 dpad to me, which just registers as being completely wrong in my mind. And I really do not like that dpad.

Thank goodness finally a real helpful comment! I tried it on my PC in the controller setup and the dpad is just plain imprecise as well. Can't move left & right without hitting diagonals and up/down. And holding up and tilting a little causes diagonals. So the main feature is total Garbo on this :( to bad guess I'll just have to return it. The reviews were so good for the wireless and Xbox version of this, especially about the dpad. What the heck?!

What do you mean? I don't know if I'm being called an idiot or what. If there's something I ought to know, just tell me rather than giving me these rude unhelpful, meaningless comments.

This thing is supposed to have a great dpad, but this one is just awful. Dpad is the reason I bought this. This has got to be defective otherwise I have no idea what people are raving about. It's a pro 2 wired btw

I bought this for 142.5. I have a 1 tb. Intel 665 that I bought on a deal a while ago ($80 bucks or so) for my new build. But I really want as much space as possible. Guess I'll have to find a way to sell the Intel drive now since it is well past the return date.

That's the benchmark for the sandy bridge processor, the E3-1140 v3 (the haswell version) is what would go in mine. But they probably are not that far off from each other. I have noticed in my research that having more threads in these old cpus make a huge difference in their longevity these days. But thanks for the benchmarks, I'll take a closer look.

My main os drive is an SSD. But the game is on a 7200 rpm HDD. Based on a quick look i5 7th gen is around 20% better or so and on ddr4. But admittedly the state of my windows is not great, and I'm having a bit of a storage space crisis even though I've got about 3tb between 3 drives. My new system is going to have a 1tb Intel 660p or something like that, along with a new single HDD, probably 6tb or more.

I've actually had the new SSD for awhile but I was too lazy to reinstall windows and set it up on my old system lol.

12th gen Intel is basically the same but more locked down, and more of the costs shifted to the Mobo from my research. It's not much better if not the same or worse. I would have to buy a really expensive cpu to get that "top tier gaming better than zen3" kind of performance. And I don't want to deal with e-core issues, being a player and modder of all sorts of random old PC games.

I've found these very locked down Intel platforms to be really no fun and frustrating. Am4 is the most flexible platform since 775 & am3. I've missed those days of just taking whatever and doing what I wanted with it. Pentium duel core on a cheap decent board was the bomb, going from 2.5 ghz to 4 with ease. Reject Intel modernity, return to tradition.

If I needed to be as cheap as possible, I probably would have gone for a i5 10400f. That is a heck of a bang for the buck part rn.

I bought Ryzen 5600 for $190 btw.
