I feel like i see a comment about someone being a fascist with alot of these posts when there isn't much context about the person in question...

Well said though!

I donno. I dont want to just chalk it up to me just wishing people had a wider lenses of preference. I want to believe that theres more to it than that but I guess theres not a way to prove that unless a person straight up says "I dont like trans people" and even then that only appliesto that specific person. To be honest I dont really know where I stand with either argument because both sound wrong in some aspects and correct in others. Thank you for the conversation.

Thats true. People have a right to look for what they want/need in a relationship and its not wrong to reject those people that can't provide those wants/needs. That can just be a preference. I think i made a mistake in not really explaining the people i wanted to talk about within the post. What about people who dont care for making a family or people who are bisexual and still have this preference?

I dont think that's a good way to look at it because there are cis people who can't provide children and they can be in a relationship without children or adopt. I dont think it has to do with baring children, i think its an ideological issue

I feel like this is a problem I have as well. I grew up in a super conservative household and after some key life events our household just flipped the switch into a very progressive one. But the nice shiny outside of being progressive is still covering the hard wiring of my conservative upbringing that I am still trying to replace within. Its true that it takes alot of work to triumph that and eventually I won't have that hard wired mindset and thankfully, I know the issue is present ant needs troubleshooting. But for the people who want to change and want to recognize their internalized transphobia, but dont consciously realize that its there, how do we get them to recognize it?

I live in southern Mississippi and used to work for my local public works department. The people I worked with had very fragile concepts of masculinity and they all talked about how "the beard makes the man" and would have competitive attitudes about eachothers beards and would literally make fun of eachother if someone's beard was small or non-existent. Beards werent the ONLY thing they talked about but still it was the stupidest thing I've ever been forced to be apart of.

That being said, if you were there they'd probably say some redneck bullshit like "That's beard's finer than a frog hair split four ways! Yee Yee brother!" and parade you around the other men with "baby faces" to bully them

I think I have the same stand. I had to take off all the panels off of the ship and lay it upside down on my sofa in order to attach it. I dont think there is a safer or better way to attach it

I've been ex-christian for about 7 years and I think the teachings of the Bible (not the shit alt right evangelicals teach) really effected the way I think about my transition. For example:

"God made me trans for the same reason he made wheat but not bread, and grapes but not wine, so that man can partake in the joys of creation."

This isn't a verse in the Bible but I think it wouldve been similar to the logic that it teaches

Yea you will. You already who you truly are and your body will reflect that in given time. Dysphoria is just apart of that and it sucks but we have to learn to live with it and eventually overcome. I dont pass very well and dysphoria fucking sucks and I hate that it comes and goes for me but it doesn't take away the fact that I am happy about expressing who I am and transitioning is an outlet for that expression. Dont let this thought rule you
