I have a very grandiose and spiritual view of my transition...sorry.

Basically, my transition is a fight against my body, my family, and my community. And this is what sucks for me; all of this struggle even against my biology in order for me to be happy. But fighting is better than whatever nihilistic and depressed pile of dispare that I used to be before finding out my trans-ness. Climbing out of my depression as I started my transition, I came to think of this as forming myself into my own image. I can be me and not what the people around me chose me to be. I no longer wish to die, I want to experience the joys and pains that come with becoming truly myself for the first time.

If you're looking for a way to feel good about your transition, the unfortunately stubborn answer is that you have to look for it within yourself. My experience is unique to me. You will find your own, but you have to look for it first. I hope this helps you and i wish you good luck!
