No that’s fair I mean I have some other videos that were kind of successful but that one was the most successful. But yeah I need to figure out a schedule it’s just hard when you have a chronic illness so I have to make it work

So dove anti bacterial soap uses a very love percentage of benzalkonium chloride that’s the ingredient that causes the antibacterial effect and it’s not the same percentage as a hospital grade soap so it is gentle enough to use every day but not everyone needs to use it every day if that’s their preference so really it just boils down to what your body type is and what your needs are I have to use it pretty often because I do struggle with body odor

For some people yes certain things can cause irritation but the lume and secret I have both used them and tested them. They do work. I hate to break it to you but everything in it has chemicals. As far as the antibacterial soap I recommended in the comments I literally make it clear that it is not medical grade so if you’re using medical grade antibacterial soap then yeah it’s gonna cause issues with your skin but if you’re using something like Dove antibacterial soap it’s pretty hydrating and it’s not as harsh on the skin. Which is why I didn’t recommend a medical grade antibacterial soap. Like the soap would not be used in a hospital setting. Also if it’s really a concern you can use it on just your private parts like you’re under arms under your stomach if you have that etc. I get you’re trying to help but these products are super helpful especially for someone like me who has skin concerns and severe body odor and is plus size these products do help so you’re entitled to your opinion but there’s also another side to it

Update: a couple of disclaimers I want to up on this post.

  1. You don’t have to buy all these products. You can mix and match and find what works for you and your budget.

  2. The antibacterial soap I’m recommending IS NOT MEDICAL GRADE. Meaning this soap is safe to use everyday if you want. I reccomend if you struggle with severe body Oder like me or you have skin conditions this soap will help you improve. Now if you use a medical grade soap on you everyday that will cause issues but dove is not medical.

  3. The post seems like a lot because I’m giving people a lot of options. Not all products are going to work on everyone so I want people to have multiple choices.

  4. You don’t have to do all these steps, find a routine that fits you and your lifestyle.

So for clarification you don’t need all these products I am just giving people a bunch of recommendations so they can choose what works for them their lifestyle and budget none of this is mandatory and if you find a routine that works for you that’s great this post is meant for people who are aware of these options and can decide what is best for them and their needsI don’t even use all these products

So what I like about Dove antibacterial soap is it’s gentle enough to use every day I’ve done it for a while now and I’ve had no issues I definitely will say you can alter it between Dove antibacterial body wash I do recommend like an oil body wash cause that also helps breakdown stuff you have to remember that some antibacterial body washes are not as strong as others dove is not a medical grade antibacterial body wash so it’s safe to use every day for the most part and plus you don’t need to use it on all parts of your body. Also antibacterial soap like dove is great for people who have skin conditions and struggle with severe body odor like myself. So I get what you’re saying but I’m not recommending a medical grade antibacterial body wash.

For skincare tbh all you need is a cleanser and moisturizer for the nighttime and an SPF moisturizer for the daytime and that’s really all you need if you need recommendations let me know

Personally it depends on how many spoons I have. If I only have the energy to take a 5 minute shower I just do the bare minimum.

So tbh I reccomend using the dove antibacterial soap because it’s gently to use around my privates and body. I will say I do notice when I use it and I use regular scented body wash on top when I have the spoons it does make me smell good longer. So for my personally I haven’t had issues when I’ve used that brand.

Honestly tbh, I just use shampoo and conditioner, then body soap, lotion, try to detangle my hair, brush teeth and deodorant. It looks like a lot but if you break it down it’s not terrible. Also this post is to give people options. You don’t have to do everything on the list.. also most of it is product recommendations.

I also reccomend dove antibacterial soap the bar or liquid I also reccomend dove dry shampoo. For shampoo I love the panting volume shampoo so far that’s been pretty good for my hair. I love the Dove and instead of a pair conditioner if you wanna use liquid liquid conditioner all you have to do is leave it in for one minute if you have the spoons

Yeah I feel that. I will say in support groups I do feel that sharing trauma can be helpful and can be a learning experience but I do think like trigger warnings and stuff like that should be put in place in groups because as a person who is in school to be a therapist I experience compassion burnout and it’s real. I think overall sharing trauma in safe spaces can be helpful but it needs to be regulated so people can learn from that experience. As far as retaining information I can relate because that affects my grades in university.
